MARLEY!!
on October 13, 2007

This cd continues the amazing streak: I've never heard a song by a member of the Marley family that I do not love. Stephen Marley is great because he combines aspects of his brothers Damian and Ziggy. His music is both slow/mellow, and upbeat and exciting. This disc is also great because it includes so many special guests, like Ben Harper and Mos Def. Stephen's voice is just so pleasant to listen to, and his music adds to that.
In my opinion, the three best songs are Mind Control, Inna Di Red, and Let Her Dance.
Something else that's great is that the Best Buy version of this cd has two bonus tracks!
Get this cd if you love reggae.

ALO is Amazing!

I thought ALO was already one of the best bands from their first release, Fly Between Falls, but this cd is far better. I just can't believe how well the band fuses so many styles and influences! All 4 guys in the Animal Liberation Orchestra are talented as musicians and vocalists. Their music is so unique and refreshing, and very energetic. They also combine a great mix of slow, mellow songs with upbeat, exciting tunes. I love the variety of instruments used by Zach, the lead vocalist. He plays ukelele, keyboards, accordion, and melodica, to name a few. The variety adds to the depth of the music.
If you're a fan of funky, upbeat, jam music, GET THIS!! It is soooo good, you will not be let down.

Blaqk Audio = Amazing!

If you like Davey Havok's voice, you definitely NEED this cd. I love everything from AFI, and at first I was kind of skeptical about this electronic side project of Davey and Jade. I had no idea what it would be like, but it is SO good. Davey's voice is beautiful on every song, and the music is so energetic and unique. This is a must-have for any AFI fan, even if you don't think you'd like electronic music.
Some of the best songs, in my opinion: Again, Again, and Again
Semiotic Love
The Love Letter

Ben Harper is Genius

I have never heard a song by Ben Harper that wasn't good, and this cd definitely added to that. I'm so glad Ben went back into the studio with the entire band this time, and it really shows on the cd: the music seems a lot deeper and fuller. Lyrics are amazing, and I love the addition of so much piano/keyboard by Jason Yates. Having Wings is definitely one of my favorite Ben Harper songs ever, and the acoustic/instrumental track, Paris Sunrise, is outstanding. Gotta love Ben and his acoustic slide guitar.
Get this cd, it is AMAZING!

Great CD

I've always loved Sum 41, and this gives me another reason why. This cd has a surprising amount of slower songs, but they are still amazing. This definitely goes back to classic Sum 41, with great lyrics, music, and the punk rock vibe. There isn't even a song on it that I don't like. I definitely recommend Underclass Hero to anyone who likes Sum 41, or just punk rock in general.

Really great cd!

I was really surprised with this album by Good Charlotte. I liked their previous two, but for some reason I was kind of skeptical. However, that was totally unfounded. This cd is great because the band has a good combination of upbeat and slower songs, but they are all good and fun to listen to. My favorite songs are All Black and Broken Hearts Parade. Joel does some different stuff with his voice on this album too, which I thought was really cool.
If you've liked previous GC cds, get this one too!
