Redeemed the Roku Stick brand

This updated Roku Stick model is leaps and bounds better than the original Roku Stick I picked up last year! While the previous version generally struggled with typical use including starting and jumping between apps, the 2016 model shows absolutely no hints of slowdown. Even when I quickly jumped between apps using the remote's four app presets, the Stick was completely responsive.
I'm also happy to report that the Roku Stick can be powered by your TV's USB ports. And if your TV, like mine, shuts off USB power when the screen is turned off, you'll be happy to know that while you have to turn the TV on with its own remote, the Roku Stick boots up cold and is ready to go in less than 15 seconds. Sadly this is faster than my TV can start up its own Netflix app and it's only about a year old...
Some other things worth noting:
- There's a good chance the Roku turn your TV on when you press the Home button. Go into Settings > Control Other Devices and activate 1-Touch Play. When my Sony Bravia is in standby (the screen is off but the TV is powered on) pressing the Home button on the Roku remote turns on the TV and switches to the Roku Stick's input. YMMV though but I think if your TV has CEC there's a good chance this'll work for you too.
- If you have at least a 1080p screen you'll need to manually kick up the Roku's resolution. You can do so in Settings > Display Type
- If you're not a fan of the Fandango Movie and TV channels you can disable them in Settings > Home Screen
Anyway even if you've been put off of the idea of a Roku Stick due to the previous model's performance issues, I'd highly suggest giving this one a try. You won't regret it!

Players have been going on daring adventures with Link for more than two decades. An instant classic, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the Super NES, introduced gamers to a storyline that has been rejuvenated with The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. With new features and an enhanced look, you'll love embarking on a new journey with Link.Link is setting off on another adventure in Hyrule, but this time he has some new abilities under his belt. Transform into a "drawing" and move along the walls of dungeons, so you can explore locations Link could never reach before and open up new puzzle elements for thrilling gameplay challenges. The amazing visuals and 60 frames per second transform the 2D world and enhance it with elevation and depth for an experience the reinvents the classic. The 3DS also allows more freedom with customized settings — just touch and drag items from the item window and switch them with what are assigned to the X and Y buttons.

A gorgeous game with a couple gameplay issues

I'm a huge fan of handheld Legend of Zelda games (Link's Awakening and the Oracle games especially), so when I picked up A Link Between Worlds I figured I'd get a sequel in the same vein. By and large this is a Legend of Zelda game, but I'm not a huge fan of the "rent your tools" aspect that they introduced here.
The game intends for you to re-rent items whenever you die, and dungeons are structured in such a way that there are sometimes a couple of ways to pass through a room. Since you might not be able to afford a particular item by the time you reach a dungeon, dungeons also contain temporary versions of items to prevent you from getting stuck midway (i.e. if you don't have bombs in an area that requires them to continue, then there'll be a small respawning monster that you can hit with your sword to turn it into a lit bomb. You can manipulate it just like a bomb you laid down yourself).
Since I went for a no-death run, I picked up all the items at the outset and basically had access to the entire world from the start. This took a lot of the wind out of my sails because I'm a fan of the old formula. There's a sense of accomplishment that comes from accessing a new area of the map because of a new item you picked up in a dungeon. That sense of accomplishment disappears, though, when accessing a new item is as simple as going into your inventory and equipping it.
Aside from that, the gameplay is otherwise solid, the visuals are amazing (especially with 3D turned all the way up), and the music is wonderfully orchestral. Despite my complaint above, I'd recommend this game to anyone who's a fan of the series.

What's great about it: It looks amazing in 3D mode
What's not so great: Lack of a sense of accomplishment

Can I watch Game of thrones even though I do not subscribe on my cable co.?

The Roku Stick supports HBO Now (which is a different app from the also-supported HBO Go app) so as long as you're subscribed to the HBO Now service you'll be able to watch GoT sans a cable subscription.

How is the 2016 better than previous roku streaming stick?

The short answer is the CPU on this one is way more powerful than the original, so it's on-par with the Roku 4 in terms of performance. I haven't experienced any lag yet.
