For $20 this is the best I've found for a universal remote. I am using it with a Sony TV and Sony BD player (all functions are pre-programmed in), a Sony CT150 speaker bar system (not pre-programmed), an XBox 360, Motorola cable box, and an AppleTV.
The dance to learn commands is a little involved, but after some work, I've got it just perfect. It has 3 IR blasters in it, so I dont even have to point it at the devices, it juste bounces around the room and works!
There should be more options for adding pauses in your macro programming to allow for the slow TV startup, I can't use the macros to start the TV, set the input, and turn on the cable box, but life goes on.
I'll upgrade to a nice Logitech Harmony remote one of these days, but you cant beat this much functionality and quality for $20.
What's great about it: Controls my AppleTV with built in code
What's not so great: Needs more options for setting delays between commands in macros
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best way to watch Netflix

I used to watch Netflix on my Xbox 360, which worked fine, but the sound of the fans was very distracting and the time it took for the machine to start up and to navigate to the Netflix app were a little annoying, the Apple TV starts up almost instantly and I can be looking at Netflix in under a minute.
Good stuff!
What's great about it: Small, simple setup, no noise.
What's not so great: The remote is tiny and easy to lose in the couch cushions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

For a non computer geek the learning curve is high. Not even used the printer so can't comment. Thank goodness for my son that helped me put social media downloads. I am getting way too many e-mails from Best Buy.

Best Buy emails

There have been issues with the BB email company and requests to stop the emails. If you look at the bottom of the Best Buy emails that you get, there will be a link to "Unsubscribe". If you click that link you can request only the emails from BB that you want to get, or even choose to get none. It takes a week or two, but it will eventually stop. I had the same problem.

My son asked for this for Christmas. Although I thought $100 was a lot to spend on a gaming accessory, it does have great sound and he loves the fact that he doesn't have to contend with wires. Would be nice if they could be used to connect to his phone for listening to music, but as a dedicated gaming headset, great product.

This headset is designed to work with phones/iPods. They come with a 3.5mm cable and plug into the bottom of the right earcup next to the charging port and your music player. The cable that comes with the headset has a microphone and other buttons for track control and mute for the phone.

Directv DVR recordings to DVD or External hard Drive
Can this be use to download Directv HD DVR contents to an external hard drive or to DVD's to free up space in my DVR and if so, where do I start and what equipment and software are required? Thank
Theoretically, it could do that, but the recordings would not be very good at all. The Dazzle isn't HD at all, I'm not sure why they put HD in the name, it can only capture 480p or 960i. Your DVR would also have to have regular Composite outputs on the back, which it might not even have. You didn't post the model number of your DVR, but you might want to look into something like this http://www.apricorn.com/product-support/dvr-expansion/apricorn-dvr-expander-for-directv.html which will just give you more storage as long as the model is compatible. Amazon has a bunch of options there, up to 4TB of extra storage, that's a lot of shows! You could even try to get a regular USB hard drive, plug it in and see what happens.
