For the first time, you get to dive into the role of Batman before he battled and won against Gotham's most dangerous criminals in Batman: Arkham Origins, and experience an original prequel storyline set before the events in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. When a young and unrefined Batman faces a defining moment in his early career that determines his fate and shapes him as a crime fighter, you'll be prepared for action with this Collectible Case, available only when you pre-order Batman: Arkham Origins for PlayStation 3. This case is made of weak metal and feels kind of cheap. Its cool to have and looks nice and I'm glad I didnt pay anything for it. The biggest negative of this product is the graphic on the front. Its not that I dont like it... I actually think that the graphic is really cool. The problem is with the graphic is the snow that is falling. The way that it is printed on the metallic case just make it look like you splashed some milk on the case and just makes it look grimey. I wouldnt suggest that you buy this if you find it available anywhere.

You've experienced the terror and mayhem of Batman: Arkham Asylum. You've battled Gotham's most sinister, lethal and forbidding villains in Batman: Arkham City. You've studied the psyche of the Dark Knight and immersed yourself in his quest to protect Gotham that you became the Caped Crusader every time you played the game. But there's one facet of Batman that you haven't yet experienced. One area that has remained in shadow — his past. For the first time, you get to dive into the role of Batman before he battled and won against the laundry list of Gotham's most dangerous criminals in Batman: Arkham Origins. Experience an original prequel storyline set before the events in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. Watch the story unfold as Batman transforms from a crime fighter into the Dark Knight. Become a young and unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career that determines his fate and leads him to meet many important characters for the first time and forge key relationships that shape his destiny. For what's a man without his past? It's time to finally receive insight about the events that transformed the man into the hero.

Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are my top 2 favorite games... ever. City is my #1 and Asylum is #2. If you are new to these games, here is what you need to know... The Arkham series is the BEST superhero game series ever made to this day. These are openworld games and the main gameplay is divided into two categories. 1) brawling with groups of thugs and 2) predator challenges. The brawling is amazing... the combat system starts out very simple but as you progress through the game you learn new moves and you quickly discover that the combat system is very very deep and can be as complicated as you want it to be. The predator csequences are stealth based gameplay where you are confronted with between 5 and 10 armed thugs who roam about a large room who batman takes down one by one. Again, this system is very deep and there are countless ways to approach each situation. However... Arkham origins is the 3rd game in the series and this was made by a different video game developer than the first two games. Arkham Origins tries to improve on the first two games in several ways, some which work and some which dont. While I didnt find Arkham Origins as enjoyable as the first two games... I still did find it enjoyable. So in summary... if you have not played Asylum or City then go out and play those NOW. If you really enjoyed Asylum and City then go ahead and pick up Origins and Im sure you will be glad you did. But if you played Arkham cCity and did not like it too much then I'm sure that this title is not worth your time.
