I bought this to protect my hp dm4 from scratches and accidental drops when I stow it away in my backpack. I picked this sleeve because it seemed more protective than the other ones I considered (see "substantial foam padding"). Well, the padding actually is pretty substantial. This case serves its purpose well.
What's great about it: It feels thick enough to protect a laptop from a reasonable drop and to keep it safe in my backpack.
What's not so great: Bland design
I would recommend this to a friend!
