Heat all types of food with the touch of a button, from a cup of coffee to a serving of chicken nuggets. This over-the-range microwave allows you to add time easily and features Child Lockout so you can prevent unsupervised starts.
I installed this microwave yesterday, and it looks great with our other LG stainless appliances in the kitchen. The buttons are easy and responsive. The most fabulous part is how much quieter it is than our 2-year-old GE that was up there previously - during cooking and exhaust operations. There is only 1 light underneath to shine on range top but since it's positioned in the middle, it provides plenty of light. The only complaint I have heard so far is that while we were cooking something on the stove burner directly under the location of the handle on the microwave, the steam that rose up caused the metal handle on the microwave to be hot to the touch - we had to use an oven mitt to grab it. I guess that is an inconvenience we can live with so that the overall appearance of the kitchen is uniform.
What's great about it: Very quiet
What's not so great: Stainless can scratch, metal handle gets hot if you are cooking on the stove directly under microwave

Woks ok. I noticed the door may easily not close all the way unless I push down slightly. It seems like this may cause trouble. I went to check the inside filter by removing to two screws that hold the top vent and there was a warranted card floating around in there. The grease filters for the bottom are missing in the box along with any user manual.

I wonder if you got an item that had been returned since there were missing items? I just bought this mircrowave and nothing was missing.
