First, I am a picky shopper - love value for the money. I certainly got that. This dishwasher is the most quiet I've had and does a wonderful job of cleaning. I love the s/s interior, much nicer looking than plastic and looks clean all the time.
The hidden controls are great, and very functional; I can always tell if the dishes are clean or dirty when I open the door. The only noise comes from the release of the soap tablet, which has a loud thunk.
Powder or gel are not usable, only tablets, which is a slight drawback, but keeps me from mixing the wrong gels and costing me a $ 150 repair bill to clean out the soap dispenser like my last dishwasher did.
Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the performance and also got a great deal on the price.

What's great about it: great price (I used price match, so do your homework.)
What's not so great: Racks are not as easy for odd items as for dinnerware
