In general, they've worked wonderfully. My twins love the projector and we love getting sleep because we no longer have a terrible white noise sound in the middle of the night. So why the reason for the 3 stars? The one unit stopped charging a week after owning but the battery life is horrible in general. Needs to be charged every few hours, at least once a day. Perhaps I just got a lemon. I'll find out when I get the replacement.
This Alpine INE-S920HD in-dash deck provides a variety of entertainment options on the go, including DVD playback on its 6.1" screen and Apple iPod connectivity, a built-in HD Radio tuner and satellite radio support for listening to your favorite jams.
Positives: After owning this for about 2 months now I decided to finally do a review of it. Starting off, I love this little guy. Has every feature you would possibly want. HD Radio, Bluetooth Streaming, SiriusXM, etc. All sound comes through crystal clear. Installation was essentially a breeze though I bypassed the parking brake wires (No, I will not tell you how so please don't ask). The iPersonalize feature is something I didn't think I'd use but now use almost everyday. If you're looking to purchase this headunit make sure to check out Alpine's website. You'll be amazed at everything this can do.
Negatives: The User Interface looks like a child had drawn it up. It looks to busy while watching the radio for instance, but plain on SiriusXM. I was a little upset that a cheap $100 XM Radio can display the channel logo but this $1000 headunit can't. It may not seem like a big deal but when you see the logo it gives you (Just a plain white box, no text) it makes everything look cheap. Moving on, to EQ it took some extra effort. It has your premade EQs but in order to do any customization it's a bit of a pain to adjust. Button mapping on screen is god awful for that.
In conclusion, I do love this headunit. It packs a lot of punch for the package. In fact I've even added the subwoofer and amp package since purchasing. With the exception of the SiriusXM logos and the EQing I wouldn't trade it for the world!
What's great about it: Sound quality, Added functionality, Awesome Navigation
What's not so great: User Interface looks cheap

Let me say that I've been with Kicker for rougly 6 years now. All I've ever owned were their products. Coming from 2 10" CVRs and a ZX amp I was a little hesitant to try anything else. Glad I did. For being a single 12" Sub this puts my Kickers to shame. I paired it up with the mrp-m500, wired at 2 ohms, and it's powerful enough to turn any head on the street. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the flexibility of responsive, tight, bass or loud, hard hitting.
What's great about it: Great Response, Great Price
What's not so great: Nothing
