Nice Lens

I got this lens because the guy at Best Buy recommended it for short range shooting of action shots. NOT a good lens for action shots it is not a fast enough lens. So I used it for portrait shoots. I had to get far from my subject in order to get her in. Also, used it for take a group shot of about 45 people and again had to get far away to fit them in. I got up high which helped some. It does take clear photos. But would not have been my first choice. I also used it for a basketball team of 12 girls again had to get 1/2 way across the gym to fit them all in. I would recommend this lens if you don't care about detail in a photo.
What's great about it: Clear photos
What's not so great: Not good for group shots or at close range
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn't hold up

I have had this bag for 2 years. It looks great. I have 4 lens 2 small ones and 2 larger ones plus 2 batteries, several memory cards, and a camera body. The first year it did ok. But as time went on the Velcro has begun to give way so the camera moves around. No matter how much it is adjusted the camera had begun to move around. So I know longer trust it to keep my camera safe and protected. As far as comfort its pretty comfortable although a little heavy. That it to be expected as to how much is in it. For the price and as a beginner bag its good. I do love the look and the fact that it is weather proof. Keep my camera dry in a down pour thank God! I would recommend it for a beginner photographer that does not have heavy equipment.

Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro Lens: This Canon macro lens enables life-size magnification of small subjects. The included macroflash makes it easy to take close-ups even in dim lighting, while the inner focusing and ring USM offer sharp images with negligible blur.

Takes Good Basketball Action Photos
on March 6, 2013

I really love this lens! It did however take some getting use to. With this lens it took some time to figure out what camera settings worked best. Once I got that figured out I fell in love with this lens. This lens is a good len for taking photos in gyms with low lighting. I love taking basketball action shots, but have a lot of issues with low light. With this lens I am able to take good action shot in low light without using a flash. My only complaint is I wish it zoomed. You need to be close to the action to get the blurred back ground affect. If you get to close it will cut the player off. But to far away while it still takes good photos though the subject doesn't stand out as well. It would be nice to be able to zoom in so as to focus more on the subject. This lens has fast focus for fast action. This is a good lens for those of us that need a better lens without the extrem price. It is a little on the heavy side. That is not an issue for me, I look at that as meaning a good quility lens. Since switching to this lens I have people offering to pay me to take photos of thier athlete. You will not be disappointed with this lens.
What's great about it: Great for action shots in low light gyms without using a flash.
What's not so great: Wish it had zoom
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dirt and dust on a lens can appear as annoying black spots on photos and video. Keep your lenses clean with this handy kit so that once-in-a-lifetime shot isn't ruined.

Don't waste your money!

Don't waste your money! I liked the liquid and the soft cloth. It only did a fair job cleaning the lens. The bulb does NOT produce enough air to even feel if you blow it onto your skin let alone blow off dust from the lens. And the bristles fall off. one fell inside the camera when I was attempting to blow dust out of it and I like to never got it out without doing damage. I wasn't even using the brush part. I mostly use the cloth to clean off the makeup smugs from the LCD screen. Bottom line you get what you pay for.

Great Camera for sports
on November 13, 2011

I love this camera! After spending several days researching cameras I had came down to 2 this one and the Canon - EOS Digital Rebel T3. I finally decided on this camera after talking with the sales associate. I take a lot of basketball pictures and most of the gyms are really dark. WIth this camera I can take pictures in low light settings without even using the flash and they come out perfect. And there is no blurring. With the pictures below it is straight out of the box before changing settings. This gym is really dark. Most of the pictures I take are fast acting so the speed of this camera was really important to me. The video is great too. Its crisp and you can follow the actin without any blur. You could even hear the coach on the other side of the gym yelling at my daughter not to reach. The pictures are crisp on the MV setting. Sports mode is good but I perfer the crisp pictures as to the ones with the action a little blurre. The sutter sound is a little loud in the video when you take a picture while recording, but I wouldn't be recording a lot anyway. So that is not an issue.
What's great about it: Takes great pictures and video
What's not so great: loud shutter sound when taking a picture in while videoing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect
By Holt8137 from Texas
A very pleasant find at Best Buy. Compared to my old backpack-style camera bag, this is just plain awesome. The flexible internal configuration is outstanding. After setting it up the way I like, I can easily fit my Rebel T1i, a 55mm-250mm, a 75mm-300mm, a 55mm, a 18-55mm, and a 60mm macro with plenty of room to spare. I could easily fit up to 3 more lenses depending on their size. And that's just in the configurable main storage area. Ive fit cleaning supplies, cables/charger, 2 external flashes and some other stuff in the rest of the numerous and amply sized pockets. I couldn't be happier.

Holt8137 Thanks for including a picture on how you have the bag set up. This helps alot. I've tried several bags and have had a hard time figuring out how to set it up so that my camera with lense attatched as well as other lenses are secure.
Your review helped alot.

Horrible! Lost all my pictures
By Nitta from CA
When I bought my camera i bought TWO of these PNY SD cards. I used the first one with no problems till I got to about 300-400 pictures. I only used it for about a month and took pics including my baby shower my daughters birthday and my sons birth, the whole point of me getting this card was to document my kids and my sons first years. This card failed me terribly! After getting to about 300 pics the card stopped working. My camera was telling me to format card with camera which i never did knowing that would delete my pics. This happened the day before my son was born, so desperately and stupidly I put the other card in and took another 300-400 pics within about 3 weeks that second card did the same as the first!! When I took it into Best Buy they told me they could send the cards in to TRY to be recovered but it would cost ME around $1000!!!! I am so disappointed in Best Buy by not standing by a product they sold and recommended to me and in the PNY products. I will NEVER buy a product made by them again. To have two of the same SD cards fail me on some with some of the most important days in my life is so disapointing. I did take them to another photo store who told me they would try to recover them for me for $45 each and no charge if they couldnt do it. Unfortunately they were unsuccessful :(

Camera will warn
February 17, 2013
The camera always will warn you that formating the card will lost ALL data and ask you again if you are sure you want to formate. Usually, When you get a can't read card warning you can go through the computer then double chick on the card then the folder that the pics are in ususally it was be a folder titiled DCIM then the folder of your camera. The photos should be there highlight all the photos you want then either drag and drop them into another folder on your computer or copy paste them. I used this card with no problems until I had taken over 20,000 photos on it. Then I started getting the error messages. So that is what I did no photos lost. Then I reformated to my camera. NOTE: I down loaded an formated every night after taking photos. I do sports photos for my daughter and her boyfriend's sports team. between 200 to 400 photos a game. This is a GREAT CARD! I wish you hadn't lost those memories. I hope this helps if you should have another issue.
