I’m so happy to have a reliable modem at an affordable price! This Netgear replaces 2 bad Motorola Modems that I had a string of problems with for weeks. The 2210 died in less than 2 years and would not give the DSL Light. The 3360 never worked correctly right out of the box and would drop the Internet Light each night. After trying everything known to man to resolve, finally had to exchange for this Netgear. It is a far superior product and is $20 cheaper in price! It does work with the AT&T DSL Network. Even though AT&T claims not to support this specific model over the phone, it works flawlessly and needs no support. It was very easy to setup using the CD. I agree with what another person said to go ahead and use the optional feet included. This helps keeps the modem cooler while operating. It’s such a joy to finally be using the Internet again without constant frustrations. Thank you Netgear!

I had the same issues as previous reviewer. Had 2 Motorola Modems go bad. Model 2210 died in less than 2 years and would not give DSL Light. It should have lasted longer. Model 3360 was easy to setup but each night would drop the Internet Light and had to be unplugged every day for 2 weeks to get the Internet working each day. Had too many problems to list and tried everything known to man to fix issue without returning product. But it did not work correctly, right out of the box. I ended up having to return product and exchange for a Netgear DM111PSP which was $20 cheaper! The Netgear is a far better product at a cheaper price. It works flawlessly and was easy to setup. Originally purchased Motorola because AT&T said they supported that model over the phone. They claim not to support this specific Netgear model I purchased. But since it works perfectly, I don't need any support. Also, Motorola does not even support their own product on their website. They have passed off all support to AT&T which is not right. They would not admit how flaky a product it really was for many users either. Save yourself time and grief by avoiding this model.

What's not so great: Drops Internet Connection Often
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
