This is a DVI to HDMI cable, its meant to connect your computer (graphic card) or gaming system to the TV using a HDMI cable, because sometimes a computer is not supported with a VGA or HDMI output, and the tv just doent have a DVI input. A DVI port ONLY SENDS OUT A DISPLAY, NOT SOUND, OR ANYTHING ELSE, just picture. so it might not work out for all of you
