Justice League: Justice on Trial utilizes its original 1.33:1 full-frame transfer and provides a clear picture. The bright colors and superb animation jump from the small screen and create an excellent viewing experience. The 2.0 channel stereo transfer represents a significant improvement over the version initially released on the television. The sounds do stay centralized and are limited by their origins, but it still is a worthwhile transfer. Considerable force emanates from the central speakers, which conveys a memorable listening experience. Each Justice League episode features a brief but informative introduction from producer/director Bruce Timm. The entries run for about two minutes each and present the creators' plans for the classic comic book characters. Timm also discusses the appearance of each of the major characters in "The Look of the Justice League." "The Justice League Watchtower" includes brief audio descriptions of each hero, accompanied by descriptions of their specific powers. Video highlights run for about 30 seconds and showcase classic moments for each member. Finally, the I.D. game provides simple clues and a logo for each hero. Viewers who have watched the episodes or know much about comics should have little difficulty.
