I needed a griddle with decent space to sautee veggies & breakfasts with. This works great. It is about the length of my stove top. Pretty easy to clean up. Just detach the power cord and wash down (needs a double sink).

So, I originally purchased the Komplete Audio 6 hardware last year. It truly worked great however it had a USB compatibility issue causing it to often flash and have to be reset to finally be register on any PC it was connected to. I dealt with that until finally it was time to find comparable hardware around the same price.
I read reviews on the 2i4 but found less negative experiences to come from the 2i2. While this was more basic then my preference, it was on hand in-store and so I gave it a shot.
I went online and downloaded the most up to date drivers, and kicked it on. I tossed on a song on Windows Media Player just to verify audio was up and running. There was an immediate horrible stutter. Latency within WINDOWS itself, not my DAW's. I ran through numerous means of troubleshooting this issue, but resorted to google for more resources. I then found myself in the group with latency issues, so severe I ANY audio on my system was not clicking and popping and sometimes completely locking up.
It does not include any software to manage your settings. Editing Windows sample rate settings did nothing. My last thought is to use an ASIO4all etc to try to manage it. Unacceptable.
It has been returned and until I see a clear comparison to the KA6 (but without it's issues as well), I'm going to stick to my built in card.

This thing works great for me in my setup. Im not running competition gear in my car. I have the highly disputed BP1204 running off this guy. They work together perfect for me and I run it at half power.
I custom wired its remote control knob into my dash, and installed my own LED rocker switch (splicing the on/off line) to shut it down fast ;)
I tweaked my amp for more midrange to hit the higher basslines in DnB and electro-industrial.
All in all I think this is a fantastic amp and does what I need it to do. The only complaint is this, clearly you want to run 4AWG into this guy. Its ports are only 8AWG. I bought adapters (hard to track down). I would HIGHLY suggest you prepare for this before you start on your install. You WILL need this to feed the amp properly.

Trick out your ride with this dual subwoofer system that delivers rich, thick base for an intense listening experience. The Plexiglas enclosure and illumiNite light make this sub look as good as your favorite tunes will sound.

So, I wanted to have showy subs for my car setup. No, I wasnt going to spend a redic amount for competition quality speakers, then have to setup up lights... they may kick harder, but wouldnt nearly look as hot.
My setup is a 1500 watt class D (600 rms) amp to these bad boys. I wired in the lights to my internal speakers for power so they light up at lower volumes on the sub. I run it at 50% power as I am not trying to do damage.
I listen to dubstep, grime, DnB, and electro-industrial.
These guys are outstanding and I couldnt be happier.

Last word of advice, If you go the route of picking up the 600 RMS amp to match these, use 4 gauge wiring. 8 will not give enough power for your amp.

Do you have a portable player that will record live music & play it back later?
Have you considered the various free/pay apps available for your smartphone?
I have used my phone on numerous occasions to record samples, plus numerous sessions away from the studio.
Then you can do as you wish with the recordings (upload to your PC, or add to your playlists).
