It's OK

It was easy enough to set up, although the enclosed instructions are VERY minimal so for a few minutes I couldn't find the input for the cable into the sound bar. Once I got it connected though, the sub woofer synched automatically (that was nice) and I was watching TV in no time. The sound is... well... just OK.... I wish there were a way to adjust the tone quality of the output, there are a few settings but I hear absolutely no difference between them, so basically what you get is one sound, and for my ears it's a little too harsh, but not uncomfortable ... you can adjust the relative volume between the sub and the bar, and the bar is small enough to fit on the TV stand in front of the TV, so I don't have to mount it on the wall, which is nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

SLOW SLOW SLOW and errors
on September 21, 2016

I've never seen a disk drive that copies date this slowly... plus, I am CONSTANTLY getting error messages when copying a lot of data, have to go back and manually copy smaller amounts of data at a time. Very inconvenient... Left it overnight copying about 300 GB of data, next morning, only 16GB had been copied due to some sort of nondescript error which stopped the copying in it's 'tracks', this after it first telling me it was going to take EIGHT DAYS to copy everything. I'll keep the drive as it's now got most of what I want on it, but it's taking nearly a week to transfer what should have been done in 2 overnight sessions.

Did not work

This item is apparently not compatible with Mac computers. Trying to reformat it as I have done many times in the past with drives did not work, the drive would not even mount on my desktop & crashed my system. I got terrible email support from Seagate. Trying to return the item to Best Buy didn't work either, fortunately they ultimately refunded my purchase price without having to return it, so applause for Best Buy. I don't know if this drive would work with a PC, but for Mac, was great frustration..

Looked better in the photo

I guess I got what I paid for, low cost equals low quality… first off, there are only pictorial assembly instructions, which are ambiguous, difficult to tell which piece is which or how to install the hardware. Fortunately, manufacturer tech support was extremely helpful and showed me the way. Even with that, I ended up first installing one piece backwards, and the the last piece did not properly fit with the rest of the assembly creating some question about the products stability when assembled.
The instructions indicate it's a 2 person assembly, but one person can easily handle it.
Ultimately , I got it put together and the TV is on the stand… looks ok, for what it is.. But I'm disappointed enough that I probably wouldn't purchase another piece of furniture from this manufacturer….
What's great about it: It holds the tv
What's not so great: confusing assembly instructions, pieces don't fit together properly

Better than expected

Internet Connectable?No
I had actually intended to purchase a different TV, but by the time I was ready they were sold out. This TV is smaller than the one I wanted and has less features, but I'm actually happy with it. Picture is great, has several options for picture quality, I only have broadcast TV so I was concerned about how well that would work, but it scanned my local area accurately. It was quite easy to set up and get going as well.
The remote is kind of cluttered with lots of little buttons which, so far at least, necessitates my having to actually LOOK at the remote to access even often used features… the only buttons easy to find by touch are channel and volume.
I often read comments about sports appearing blurred on some TVs, but I watched a football game and it was all clear, no discernible problems.
I didn't expect the sound to be very good, but it's really not all that bad… but the addition of a sound bar brings that right up to par..
I haven't yet tried any of the alternate features - connecting a computer, etc . . . I really have no use for that right now, so it's irrelevant to me.
I've had it less than a week, but so far, so good!
What's great about it: Clear picture
What's not so great: Sound, features, cluttered remote
