Why would you buy this when you can get a real camera for that price, a really, really good camera for a hundred or two more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been looking for a Bluetooth system that had separate speakers instead of the one piece units. What's the point of stereo if you have two speakers in one unit? Finally some manufacturers have started making them but none that were very small until now. I brought a pair of Blaupunkt BPA-3004KR's. They are about the same size as the Sony X11's but that's about the only similarity. These speakers sounded terrible, almost as if they had no amplification. I thought I could trust a product from a well known company like Blaupunkt, I guess time has passed them by. Their car stereos used to be the best, don't see them much anymore. So I took them back the following day and saw the Sony X11. I noticed it had the ability to pair another speaker for stereo sound and more importantly real separation. A salesman unpacked one, we connected and I was impressed with just one, I knew two would be great. Brought two, took them home and connected the first one via NFC in less than a minute. Pairing the other speaker was just as easy, you simply press a button on each speaker. I understand that most other speakers with the option of adding a second speaker require software on your phone to pair the second speaker. Incredible sound from speakers the can fit in the palm of your hand. Filled the room with sound, not a lot of bass but I wasn't looking for that and it's unrealistic to expect a lot of bass from a speaker that small. I wanted a great sounding speaker system that didn't require their own case or take up too much space when I travel. These little gems are exactly what I was looking for. The sound is great, highs are crisp, mids are clear, the bass is just OK but that was to be expected.
