Installation of Dishwasher (SKU 6681708)

I was told I needed to buy their dishwasher kit for $29.99 (SKU 6681708) and that it contained the parts needed to install the dishwasher I purchased. In fact the package of parts (by Smart Choice) says on its front, "Includes Everything To Connect Your Dishwasher To Your Waterline And Power Source." However, when the installer arrived (installer was chosen by Best Buy), he wanted an additional $80 to install a new water valve, not because the valve was leaking, but because it and the hose provided in the kit were not matching sizes. The kit did contain fittings, but (according to the installer) it did not contain everything I would need. Even though the new valve can be purchased at any hardware store from $8 to $12, and can be installed in a matter of a few minutes, the installer (Optima Service Solution of Southern California) would not accept anything less than $80.
I would recommend you make sure which type of fitting you need before buying the type of kit.
What's not so great: Did not contain what it claimed to contain
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
