Poor design

The cover part of this case is the problem with Apple's product. The cover, if fully opened and flat against the case, does not lay flat at the first cover joint. This design flaw makes it difficult to hold the device and leads to tearing the case at the case to cover hinge. Another problem with the cover is that it does not properly support the device if you try using the alternate stand (triangle) positions. This case is not worth purchasing until Apple redesigns the smart case to fit properly.
What's great about it: Color selection
What's not so great: Cover does not fit properly
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased the Premiere XL4 and am very disappointed with it. Ultimately the functionality is just not there where compared with a cable company’s DVR. I originally purchased this for the features despite a CBA showing ~1.6 years to start saving when compared to my cable company. I do not recommend Tivo.
FYI, You will need a switching unit (for Cox and TWC in San Diego area) in addition to the cable card to receive all of your channels.
