I don't normally buy into the hype around wireless routers. Usually all the talk about speed increases and signal strength proves to be overstated or downright untrue when you get the device home.
I was amazed at how much of an improvement this was over my old dual-band N router. The signal strength is noticeably stronger. In areas of my house that would only get 1 bar, I am now getting 3. The most impressive gain was on the 5 Ghz band though. Multiple speedtests clocked in at right around 100Mbps whereas on the old router I would typically get 15-20Mbps.
Setup was pretty quick and painless as well. All in all I am extremely happy with this router and it has greatly surpassed my expectations.
