An Ultimate Sound Scape

This is the last pair of my B&W speakers, after I got each pair of 684B and 683B.
This is the true king of sound in term of clarity, detail, solid bass, and crystal clear treble. These speakers when I hook up with my Marantz receiver, using multi- channel stereo mode, it deliver a true live sound. It sounds better than the 683B, 684B in term of clarity and detail . If you can afford it, go with it. It won't make you disappointed in any category. But the 683B is still the best alternative choice if you can't afford this one.
What's great about it: Power, sound, appearance
What's not so great: nothing

It took me a long time to decide to buy because it so expensive but I have to try it but not too bad so far. It great dancing and party, for it produces a powerful bass with a clear punch making listeners moved. I have a set with all B&W speakers and Maranzt receiver; it gives me the best surround sound system I ever have.
What's great about it: Powerful sound, appearance
What's not so great: Feet is not good to support a heavy body

Amazing center speaker

I just bought this CMCCGB center speaker; it looks beautiful. I don't want to put it in my screen cabinet. It sounds like a floor speaker, clear and deep bass. You can use it without surround speakers; it can cover more space.
What's great about it: Smooth deep bass and crystal clear treble
What's not so great: nothing

Very powerful sub for the small body

I just got this Dynamo 700, a few days ago after I got the Dynamo 500. I put one in living room set and the other in basement set. The bass is stronger than the 500, but the 500 has deeper and smoother bass. Either way, I like both of them. The 500 is ideal for listening and the 700 is good for party and dancing because it produces a strong and powerful bass for rocking. The 700 even handle better than the B&W 500W but the Dynamo 700 costs $800 less than the B&W 500W. What I don't like the 700 is it designed without air flow not like the 500. When I turn it louder, the body shaken and moved on the wood floor. The 500 is well balanced no shaking or moving even I turn it louder because it has two holes for good air flow on the back.
What's great about it: Great power, solid and strong bass
What's not so great: Design for front and down bass fire make it confused

Great quality sub

I have all B&W speakers on my system except the sub I pick Martin Logan. The Dynamo 500 handles the bass deeper and stronger than the B&W 200W Sub. It handles the powerful bass without shaking or moving its body compared to the B&W. The bass is deep, smooth, and clear in a normal and higher volume. Thanks to the two holes on the back that pump out the bass deep and smooth and help to stabilize the body weight and sound in contrast to the B&W sub that built without the holes. Martin Logan makes better subs than the B&W.
What's great about it: Smooth deep bass
What's not so great: The bass seem fire to the back stronger than the front

Great sound and power handling

Great sound and deep bass, you spend only half price for the 684B for almost the same sound quality as its brother CM8 that costs double. I bought CM8 after a few weeks I went to Bestbuy Macnolia, and I listened to both, there was not much different. the CM8 has clearer and stronger treble, but the 684B has deeper and stronger bass because its has 6-1/2" woofer size compare to CM8 5-1/2" woofer. If you are on budget and looking for B&W speakers, choose the 684B over the CM8, you save $1100. Thanks the B&W for making the 683B and 684B for an alternative choice of the CM8 and CM9 which cost double.
What's great about it: sound quality, deep bass and clear treble
What's not so great: front grill, and appearance

Very powerful and solid sound quality

I just got another pair of these speaker; after hooked it up I was very happy to hear the beautiful sound-clear and deep bass- I replaced all my Klipsch system with the whole B&W. I still like my golden woofer Klipsch but B&W sounded stronger and deeper bass. After listening to the CM9 and this one I found no much different in sound quality only the price. So I picked it and when I got home, there was not disappointed at all but very happy. If you are in budget and want only sound quality not appearance, these speakers fit for you. You don't have to spend $3000 for a pair of CM9. take these speaker and save $1500.
What's great about it: sound quality, power handling, and clear and solid sound
What's not so great: Big and heavy, and front grill look cheap easy to break

Great sound for big price

I bought this sub and return in 3 days. It sounds good and strong power but its body and weight are not strong enough to hold the power when I turn on higher volume. B&W makes very good speakers but not so good subs compared to Martin Logan. For this price range, we can find the better one. Good for turning normal or lower volume.
What's great about it: Quality sound and power
What's not so great: Small and lighter body makes it moved on wood floor and shake on the cuppet floor

Great features, well built, high tech receiver

I bought this product a few week ago and disappointed for lacking of power to push my B&W speakers. I expected it would blow out my speaker but it is less than my old Yamaha 7.1. To get a normal sound, I have to turn up -25 volume level compared to my old one -50 to -45 level. No manual, I have to read CD Rom on computer and walk back to set up, over 160 pages. It much harder to set up through TV screen than Pioneer Elite. I returned it to Best Buy and told the sale person, he said that this product needed to turn volume from -25 to 0. I still not convinced yet because I used my 600 watt Yamaha volume only 50 % for normal listening compared to this 1350 watts 75 to 80 % volume level; where is the power? 150 watt per channel. And the sound quality no difference from my old one.
What's great about it: features, high tech
What's not so great: power is not good as expected, complicated tech

I just got this pair of speaker from store few day ago; got hook up and give my Karaoke system a great different even I used mixing with my old Clipches. Very strong, deep, and smooth bass in any level of volume. I will add more sub, center, and surround to my system in the future.
What's great about it: Easy set up, lighter weight and smaller but powerful
What's not so great: Easy to get fragile for the tweet and the grill not connected strong to the body
