Works Well on iPad Pro

I purchased so that I could take detailed notes on my iPad Pro. The pencil was really easy to set up, just plug it into your iPad's port and it pops up with a setup box to sync. I use with Microsoft One Note and it meets my needs. I chose One Note since it stores your notes in the cloud and makes them available on other devices such as your PC. Main cons on the pencil are that it's pricey, a little skinny for my preference, does not include a cap to protect the tip (though it does include a replacement tip), no magnet to attach to your iPad or case and does not have a battery life indicator. I ended up buying a sleeve with magnets that wraps around the pencil to give me a better grip and allows me to attach to the iPad when not in use. I have not had any battery life issues and it does charge quickly.

Installation was easy and it found my return from last year and created a new one for 2016. Works great, only complaint is that you need to buy the Premier version for it to walk through basic stock transactions.

Was looking for a Harmony remote and saw this one on sale. The remote itself is basic, no display and not lit, but it comes with a hub that works with Alexa. First, I saw that the big complaint about the fancier remotes was battery life, something that this avoids without the bells and whistles. All I wanted was a better remote for my Apple TV and this works well. Only negatives with Apple TV is that you can't power the device off and fast forwarding is slow. Powering down is not an issue since you can set the Apple TV to automatically turn off after a period of inactivity. Controls are fine for TV and cable, no complaints there, but note that the remote only has 3 physical buttons for device selection, so it's limited. Programming was fairly straight forward and it's nice to be able to assign a string of commands to turn on all of your devices with a single button. For me, it's the TV, sound bar and Apple TV or Cable Box or Blu-ray Player. The nice part is that the commands don't come from the remote, but instead, comes from the hub, so equipment placement is flexible. The real treat is that it works with Alexa, so I can just tell Alexa to turn on my Apple TV and it powers everything on. If you own an Echo, this could be a good option.

I have a full size Echo in my kitchen and decided to get this for my bedroom. Works great as an alarm clock and plays music (internet radio). It does come with a small speaker built in, but I did connect to an external speaker for music. I've also connected my iPad to the Echo Dot, which allows me to pass sound through to the same external speaker.

I both work and play on my PC. This mouse fits the bill well for both. I find it comfortable, but the battery life is not great. It gets me through a full work day, but not much more. There is an option to charge as you play, but the cord is really stiff. The cord and battery life are the main reasons I took off a star. Overall, the mouse is good quality and tracks well for gaming.

Big Money Saver

It works as advertised. Call quality is very good, though sometimes I get a little noise or echo on the line. Set up was fairly easy, but I did not follow the directions to hook directly to my modem and use it as a router, nor did I connect a single phone directly to it. Instead, I connected it to my router and then to the phone line in, which feeds all the lines in my house. Wasn't sure it was going to work well, but it does. No issues in over a year. Nice savings on my phone bill each month. Only thing I don't like is that you need to subscribe to premier if you want call blocking. I get so many telemarketing calls these days that call block is almost a necessity. Instead of paying $10/mo for premier though, my solution was to buy a Panasonic phone that offered call block.

It has a beautiful display and works very smoothly. I have other Apple devices, so the devices sync and work well together. I had been waiting for the Mini 3, but was disappointed when it came out since it was basically the same device, with just the touch id added and the availability in gold. Not worth the $100 extra, so with the Mini 2, basically get the same device at a lower price with the same processor. If you're looking for an 8" tablet, this is the best bang for the buck. You get the nice Apple quality, finish and support.

Mac mini now has fourth-generation Intel Core processors, increased graphics performance, and ultrafast 802.11ac wireless networking. It also features two Thunderbolt 2 ports, great built-in apps, and OS X Yosemite. And it's still the world's most power-efficient desktop.

Decent Computer for Everyday Tasks or as an HTPC

My first Mac, still getting used to it. Moving all of my files over was relatively easy with the built in tool. Comes with all apps I need, a learning curve, but I appreciate not having to buy everything again. Works great for web browsing, word processing, spreadsheets. iTunes of course is there and my iPhone syncs really fast, though apparently iTunes on the Mac doesn't sync Notes, which was a big headache to work around.
The price is reasonable for an i5 machine, but 4gb of RAM is on the low end. I wished I had gotten 8gb, especially since RAM is no longer upgradeable. The HD5000 graphics is a nice improvement, but still not great for gaming, but at least for some games, it's reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised when I loaded World of Warcraft.
I would recommend to anyone looking for a machine for basic tasks or for someone looking for a home theater PC. I loaded Plex on it and it runs very well, so I can connect to an HDTV to watch videos. Pricier than an Apple TV, but a lot more options or if you have an Apple TV, you can Airplay to it.

Toner is pricey, but generics are a big hit and miss. Based on my past experience, I will only buy original manufacturer toners. These work with no issues, quality is great and they last.

i moved during the year. Can you file two different state returns...part Year resident in two states.
Yes, Turbo Tax will support part year residencies. However, you will need to pay for a second state license (assuming your purchase included one state). You can make the additional purchase through the software online.

does this work with Apple TV?
I use this with my 4th gen Apple TV. It works fine with it but there are some caveats. You cannot hold down the home button to put your Apple TV to sleep. I get around this problem by just setting the Apple TV to sleep after 15 minutes of activity, so I just turn off the TV and sound bar and the Apple TV will turn itself off a little later. Forwarding on shows is slow with this remote. With the Apple TV remote, you can just slide from left to right, but that function is not available, you can only fast forward, which is slower. When you enter search boxes, the input screen is a little different, but I don't have any issues. And last, you can't use voice search since this remote does not have a mic.
