It was very ironic to see Kevin Hart play a "serious" role by being a picture perfect role model for others in the film whereas seeing a man built like a Terminator (The Rock) play the role that I am use to seeing Hart portray; and that is that of a child or a prankster.
It was awesome, awesome, and more magically delicious than the first film. I will not lie. It was great to see the gang "re-appear" back on the stage and on movie screens across the world!
This movie takes you on one wild & very outrageous ride! I had the opportunity to see it earlier this week @ an advanced screening, but I had to decline due to unforeseen circumstances, but I wish I had because this is the type of film where I would want to see it either for free in a multiple of ways: i.e. someone buying me a ticket; seeing it at an advanced screening; or seeing it for half-price or at a matinee; or even having a friend who works at a theater get me in 4 free of charge admission.
The meaning of the title of this film was simple: To. Live. Boldly. The character of Lou (aka ME) was putting herself and her needs for Will (aka YOU) before what Will Traynor wanted for himself.
The Apocalypse: The moral behind the story of this mutant was that he wanted to take over the entire world. To wipe out & erase all mankind; everything & to start again from scratch. The Four Horsemen that he gave more power- I feel that he really didn't. He gave them the power and strength that they always had from within and he just tapped into it for them. They prevailed. All 4 of them prevailed! They conquered AGAINST the apocalypse. They proved that they were strong.
This was a very tough film to watch- I CAN believe that NOT only because of what was shown in the film, but somehow, I believe that people have the types of jobs that I would NEVER want a desire to have.
Daniel Craig does it again. And again. And again. And AGAIN! The movie was killer stellar and explosive just as all the films in which Daniel Craig starred in as Bond. James bond, that is!
There were so many shocking twists and turns in this movie; you needed a particular set of skills to figure out who was who, who was conning who, why they did it, when they did it, who really did it and who REALLY did it, for what reason did they do it, etc.
I enjoyed this film for the simple fact that they did NOT NOT NOT show how Dr. King died because they had so much hardcore imagery (even thought hat was how it happened) that was unbearable for me to watch and also HAVING the people in the audience making comments about the beatings and foul behavior!
