TL, DR: No doubt the best money you will spend. Impossible to not love the speaker unless you get a lemon.
I have tried the UE Megaboom, UE Boom, UE roll, Jbl Charge 2+, the Beats Pill, Bose Soundlink. All of the other bluetooth options I had available to me I didn't bother testing them out because the ones listed above were supposedly the next best speakers in their class. So while researching I found out that the JBL xtreme was sure to not disappoint and it will be the best 300 you will spend on a speaker.
So I decided to give the speaker a chance and make sure I keep my receipt in my wallet because I thought for sure I'm taking this back.
I am glad that this speaker probed me wrong. The bass sounds completely balanced and hits like a mini subwoofer. Not tinny or overly punchy as pill, but just right. The highs are extremely clear and even at full volume I didn't hear any distortion whatsoever. I use my Samsung Galaxy S6 and my Itouch 5 when using this speaker and most of the songs I'm playing are from YouTube, which sometimes isn't the best quality and Pandora. To never here distortion is perfect.
The cons of the speaker which may bother some but not me is that when playing songs off of your ipod, the speaker sometimes skips the first second or half a second of the beginning of the song. Other reviewers said something about DSP, but I don't really know how that works so I won't speak on it. The other issue is the when playing the speaker in its normal position, it sounds as if the places the tweeters near the bottom of the speaker making it fire towards whatever the speaker is sitting on (desk, mantle, table etc). Again, this doesn't bother me neither because if you tilt the speaker back you will hear the fullness of what this speaker offers.
As most may know, I currently work as a courier in a very loud diesel truck and I needed something that was going to offer durability if it drops, semi waterproof for rainy days or accidents, and definitely long battery life. I'm only work about 6+ hours a day and I played the speaker at about 75% and I only one light from the battery went off. Even with all the rap, house, trap, and jazz bass going on, this speaker lasted. I've only had for a week so I can't speak on the long term, but I will say I have gladly thrown my receipt away because this speaker will be with me for a very very long time.

This speaker is loud, packs a punch, and is an excellent purchase. I have a ion block rocker that I purchased for $150 that has a 75hr battery life and is the perfect all around Bluetooth speaker. With that being said, I couldn't see myself spend more than 100 bucks for a decent portable Bluetooth speaker that packs a punch. This UE Roll does that job perfectly. It is loud, has no distortion with any genre of music at full volume, and is completely water proof. The only cons of this product is that the charging time is roughly around 5 hours and if you play this speaker at or above 80%, which I do since I drive FedEx trucks for the time being, you will roughly get at or around 4, but no more than 5 hours of play time. I usually start off around 75% volume for the first half of my shift and then crank it towards the end for that extra push to get me through the remainder of the day. Overall, this speaker is definitely worth my money and will be worth yours too if you plan on using this speaker for your adventures on the go.

Best Wireless Speaker In It's Class

I have been searching for wireless bluetooth speakers that have great overall music quality and I've found it in the ue boom. I've heard the beats pill, pill 2.0, and XL. Jbl flip, Bose soundlink, and many more. The Ue Boom is better than all these speakers. I primarily use it outdoors where audio can get drowned out by outside noise but this one does not. This thing is Water resistant, you can stand 50 ft away from it, has 15h of battery life, excellent bass for indoors with right acoustic set up, and has an app to control the ue boom. You can also buy two ue booms and have them play from the same audio source. For 150 dollars less than all the speakers above the ue boom has way more too offer. What helped me to buy this was I was in Westfield mall in San Jose,Ca went to the best buy mobile store turn the speaker all the way up and walked more than 50ft out of the store and could still hear the lyrics clearly over the people in the mall and the music of the mall.

Great Sound Terrible range

The treble and highs on the speaker is great, but it does lack bass. The range is terrible and can't walk more than 15 feet away. I have the speaker made by iluv syren and this is the best Bluetooth speaker for under 40

How Often Used:3-5 times a week
So I went to best buy and bought the beats mixr. Everything about those headphones were great except they are very uncomfortable. Couldn't even wear them for longer than 15 minutes without my ears killing me. Returned them for the studios in orange. Those are all around great headphones except for the sound leakage. With the volume at 60 to 70 everyone around you can hear what you are listening to crystal clear.they are noise canceling probably so you don't hear people around you complain that they can hear every lyric on the songs when standing 10 feet away from you. So I went back once more and got these. These are perfect. Paired with my itouch with ease and the sound quality is perfect. I even paired these with my Bluetooth lg Verizon FLIP phone and people could hear me just fine on the end. I am completely satisfied with the comfort sound and durability. I recommend getting the protection plan just in case. They cover these expensive headphones for two years and they break just bring it down and grab another pair. If you have your mindset on getting beats and you don't know which ones to choose, these are it. Don't think anymore just come down and cop these and you won't be disappointed I promise.
What's great about it: Very comfortable, Amazing sound quality, no major sound leakage
What's not so great: No complaints
