The Shark IF201 is the perfect vacuum for smaller jobs. It comes with plenty of attachments and is a nice versatile vacuum. The head pivots like a Dyson. Has some bright LED headlights to light the way and is easy to empty.
On the main part of the vacuum (handle) you can control the power of the motor to conserve energy and you can select carpet or hard floors. It's very handy when transitioning from the kitchen to a carpeted area. The Shark has decent suction for what it is. I used in on a large area rug then the kitchen and it was able to clean up the edges and corners quite well. I won't be needing to move the Dyson all the way upstairs anymore.
The battery comes drained so you will need to charge it for several hours. It doesn't come with a charging dock that is sold separately. You get the wall adapter and you plug it straight into the battery itself. You can charge it while the battery is in the vacuum though. Works well.
When storing the Shark you simply push the button on the wand/pole and it collapses at the hinge and locks in place nicely. In this position it can be stored and charged.
Overall this Shark vacuum is going to make things easier around the house for us. If you're in the market for a stick vacuum you won't be disappointed with the Shark IF201.

Strong enough to chip wood!

I've never owned a Vitamix blender before but I'm glad I am now. The amount of power this blender has is awesome. It will make short work of anything that needs blending.
What really surprised me was how quiet it is. I couldn't believe it. The thing is built like a tank and is larger than I thought. So naturally I was expecting it to be very loud. It wasn't at all.
Everything about this blender is solid, very well built and works so well. If you're in the market for a beast blender then look no further. Seriously.

I've used the Logitech G703 for a few days now. Playing mostly Overwatch, Player Unknown Battlegrounds and Friday the 13th. This mouse is really great. Very smooth with 0 lag.
I use mine with the included weight. I feel it gives it good stability and smooth functioning. I prefer this over my G 602. Mainly because of the rubber grip. Feels so nice in the hand.
If you're in the market for a smooth gaming mouse with NO lag give this one a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Cool gadget that works!

I was hesitant about getting an iRobot. Seemed like a gimmick to me. Boy was I wrong.
The Roomba 690 is a great wifi enabled vacuum that gets the job done. It's a bit noisy running at about 65 decibels but If you set it to clean while you're away that won't be an issue.
Set up is fairly straight forward. Download the app and follow the instructions and you should be good to go in a few minutes.
Pros- Easy set up, Alexa enabled, self docking when the job is complete, kids love it. Also, an extra filter is included.
Cons- have to fully charge when you get it (3 hrs), a bit noisy, doesn't always respond to the app.
Overall the Roomba is very nice to have. You will still need to pick up a bit before letting him run loose. Basically anything you don't want to run over with an upright you don't want the Roomba going over. Very cool gadget that helps you around the house. If you're in the market for a Roomba you will be pleased with the 690.

The Ninja coffee brewer makes great coffee. It very easy to use and comes ready to go out of the box. You can set it to brew half or full carafe, over ice or single cup.
The water reservoir comes off easily to refill, the LED display is nice and bright and easy to read. There is a hot plate to keep your brew warm and it also comes with a coffee scoop.
Overall I am pleased with this brewer. It makes great coffee and is a very solid machine. If you are in the market for a good coffee machine look no further.

The Everest 310's are a great sounding on ear set of headphones. The amount of bass and treble is perfect and not overdone. Build quality is solid.
The headphones come in a nice case which provides great protection while storing or traveling. Also comes with an orange micro USB cable and an inline cable with remote if you want to be wired.
Although these aren't noise-cancelling headphones, once I put them on they did a really good job of isolating sound. Not sure if it is the earcups, my ear shape or part of the design but it was great.
Set up was very easy. I turned on the headset, went to bluetooth settings on my phone and selected the JBL's and I was done.
Pick these up if you are in the market for an on ear set of headphones.

At this price you are getting an average pair of in ear headphones. The sound is average as is the build quality. You get an assortment of tips for different ear sizes and a very short micro usb cable for charging.
If you need a cheap pair of decent bluetooth headphones then look no further.
Major con for me is that headphones like this have a very rubbery cord and as it rubs on your shirt the earbuds slowly come out. These fell out twice while mowing the lawn. Probably just my ear size but worth noting.

This Samsung sound bar was a delight to use. It sounds very nice and bass is good. I thought the bass would be lacking since it's a soundbar but I was wrong. It sounds great. Movies and music sounds really good.
Set up was simple. You can connect it to your tv via the included optical cable or 3.5 mm jack. Other connectivity options include bluetooth to your phone or tv, or you can connect it to your wi-fi via the mobile app.
The app seems well made. You can control the soundbar from the app, select the online music streaming service you want to use as well as update the soundbar firmware. Mine needed an update out of the box.
The build quality is top notch too. The brushed metal casing is a nice touch. The display for the soundbar is built in and is located on the right behind the speaker grill. Another nice touch.
Remote: The control is simple yet effective. One thing ill add is that the volume and bass buttons are actually toggles. I mashed them for a while until I read the manual and realized you can toggle the controls up and down. For some reason you have to push the settings button to access treble. Not sure why they didn't just add a third toggle for treble. The volume is scaled 0-100. I cranked it up 85 and while there was no distortion it was starting to get a bit harsh, but still sounded good.
Overall this soundbar is very nice. Premium sound and feel with many options to stream music and connect.

I bought this to use with my PS4 PRO and I must say I was disappointed with the picture quality. Yes it is 4K and it looks better than the cheap ASUS HD monitor I used to have, but everything is washed out compared to the LG IPS I traded it in for. EVen after messing with settings it just left me wanting more out of it. I would go with the LG 4K monitor best buy sells. It is so much better and you will be happy you went with it instead of the Samsung.

My 9 year old son had a blast putting this together. His sense of accomplishment when he was finished was priceless. He learned about how speakers work though the provided experiments. Truly a wonderful experience for my son.
As for the sound, I was pleasantly surprised. It sounds very nice. Still get Bose sound once it is complete.
If you are looking for a bluetooth speaker for your child this one is a must have. They get to learn while building their very own bluetooth speaker.

PS4 never worked out of the box. Tried multiple video sources and multiple HDMI cables. Why would Sony not demand quality control from their manufacturer. Hopefully they will come up with a fix or I will just return everything I bought and hope others will do the same to send a big message.

Just because you received a faulty unit doesn't mean no one should buy it. The failure rate was estimated at about 1 percent of one million units sold. Every console launch WILL have issues. The xbox will have them too but that doesn't mean no one should buy it. Your situation is disappointing to say the least, but let's be realistic. If you buy at launch you are taking a risk. It doesn't matter which console you are buying.

I purchased this game for my husband. I watched him play this game. I really liked how they made the game seem like it was a show. When he went to save the game and turn it off they showed what is going to happen or what you should expect when you play it again like they would show the preview of the next episode of a cop show. I enjoyed watching him play this game and I'm not a huge fan of watching him play games I usually end up falling asleep. It has just enough action and a great story line.

I bought the PC game disc since I am on metered internet. I get the game in this afternoon only to find out that the disc only contains about 5GB of the 24GB game. It would cost me an additional $150 to increase my data plan enough to download the rest of the game and play it. This is a huge fail on Bethesda's part. I wish companies would realize that not everyone has huge data allowances. Console versions of the game were shipped on Blu-Ray discs but they decided to ship not even a quarter of the game on a DVD for PC users.

I missed in the reviews that you can't charge while playing. This was a big let down as I thought it would an excellent way to utilize an extra Chromecast Audio. Had to dig out a 2 port charger and a second long cable to run from nearby outlet. Not as clean as I'd hoped...

First let's start with the boxing of this system which is top notch, each of the "nodes" is wrapped in a protective sleeve, there are 3 plugs, an Ethernet cable and a card that instructs you to just download the Linksys App to install. At first I thought oh boy here goes, they are making this appear to be easy but it's not going to be.
Boy was I happy to be wrong, I downloaded the app and followed the instructions to install, first I plugged the first node into the wall, then connected to my router, within literally a minute or two, the first node was online, it asked me to custom name my system and generate my own password which is an easy alternative to some of the wacky preprogrammed passwords that wifi systems come with. Once the first node was online all I needed to do was find an appropriate spot for the second one (the first being in my home office) which I located in my basement, again within minutes, up and running, just following the prompts on the app, then for the third in a spare bedroom upstairs. There is also a check at the end of installing each node to make sure the signal is optimal and if you need to move the node the app will let you know, I didn't have to move mine.
I have never, I repeat never had a setup of anything go so smoothly and be so easy, other than maybe plugging in a toaster.
The great thing about Velop over a wifi system with an extender to augment your signal is this is all on the same network name whereas with an extender you always need to log on to the extended network and the speed is usually significantly slower than the original network.
With Velop, it's a seamless transition all through your house on one network name with strong signal throughout the house.
I speed tested the system and it was FULL speed throughout the house (150/150) and also reconfigured my Apple TV's etc onto the new network with no issues.
I can't say enough about how happy I am with Velop, I have finally found my final whole house wifi system.

This is a great idea. Three routers with a backhaul over Mu-MIMO. In theory could get good coverage for a house and for the people who get this to work I'm sure it is a great product. I have wasted over 3 hours over two days trying to get this router to work. I can only get one Node configured. The other two nodes won't connect event when I place the nodes right next to each other, I still get errors like out of range.
My experience has been very poor. Please note to setup and administrator this router IT REQUIRES and IOS or ANDROID DEVICE. This app is not in the Amazon store. I have a few of the cheaper Amazon tablets and figured while I wait for my new Android phone I could use that or worse case like EVERY OTHER ROUTER ON THE MARKET I could hardwire or connect to default wireless network and setup the routers via a web page. No. If you try Linksys Mocks you and tells you must use an app. I had to borrow an android phone to setup this up to test. I should have stopped there. I don’t mind apps and it would be fine if the app was useful. But it isn't. It was written under the assumption you would not have a problem, but the number of times I've tried to add Nodes to this and got told, hey you'll need a plug etc. It takes like 5 clicks to start the add a node process. Not ideal, esp. if you notice someone keeps trying stop making me over click. Seeing it say Uh-Oh press the red reset button and have it not really fix the issue just induces rage, or when it says it is setting up and just hangs, no good.
Also, when the nodes don't connect there is no useful information. The Linksys Range extender I have gave me more information via the web page then this app on if they are two far or close.
Additionally, I've tried resetting the system, via the reset button, but I have no idea if that is working since I can't connect to the router except via the app and it doesn't tell me if it is back to default connection. Additionally, this app connects to your Velop via an Internet cloud connection. It is faster when your connected via wireless to the node, but still have that little cloud connection, and I'm not a fan of having to connect to a Cloud service that I can't two factor protect and won't use the full keyboard of symbols forcing me to use an extra-long password to protect my router.
This setup experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth and crippled what could be a good idea. The single router when it was working I checked my phone, and I know it is using both 5Gz and 2.4Gz still have me a strong signal throughout my house and only needs one. But I was looking forward to using this to extend some LAN ports to a few places and saving me a few 50ft. cords I have in the house. With the backhaul it would have been able to cover the data my switches have.
Other cons no USB ports so if you have a printer or USB HDD on your current router, you'll need to consider other options if you go with this.
I really wanted to like it, but not providing a customer with additional tools or an easy way via the app to reset or control the router is frustrating. I know my next step is to try this weekend to contact customer service open a case and see if they can fix it. But even if they get it working, the fact that I must use an Android App, and can’t use a desktop to manage it, makes me worry what will happen if it goes wrong or worse since it is app only what will happen when someone finds a vulnerability in the cloud service Linksys uses to connect back to the routers and start messing with them. I wish they would at least have some form of two factor and allow for more complex passwords, or at the very least once the initial setup is done disable the external web connection cloud service and only allow the app to work when I’m locally connected.
For everyone who got this to work I’m sure this will be the product, just hope you don’t have an issue that requires troubleshooting.
On the one working node I did test the speed and it seemed over wireless my EA9500 was more consistent and a bit faster from the same source and destination for a large file copy, but the Velop was close enough that most people wouldn’t notice anything. I also tested the single working node with some online gaming, both in the other Ethernet slot and wireless and I didn’t notice any performance impact. Since I can’t get all the nodes I have tested true load to report, but I’m sure others who have it working will, and I’m sure once I work with Linksys support I can get this system working it will be fine and provide me with spotless coverage. Just the whole having to use an app, and what I feel a limited and poorly designed app, and have it forced down on us with no backup connection has left a sour feeling and makes me worry about what will happen in the future if these devices go wonky, I won’t be able to troubleshoot, reset/fix as quickly as I could in the past and to be fair to Linksys this is a new product just out and they may fix the app and hopefully add other versions or allow access to the web service locally to manage them. Just know that if you are looking for a mesh like network this isn’t a bad router, but it seems to be crippled by an over simplified app, that is limited to two platforms and requires Internet connectivity to full function.

No. If you try Linksys Mocks you and tells you must use an app. I had to borrow an android phone to setup this up to test. I should have stopped there. I don’t mind apps and it would be fine if the app was useful. But it isn't. It was written under the assumption you would not have a problem, but the number of times I've tried to add Nodes to this and got told, hey you'll need a plug etc. It takes like 5 clicks to start the add a node process. Not ideal, esp. if you notice someone keeps trying stop making me over click. Seeing it say Uh-Oh press the red reset button and have it not really fix the issue just induces rage, or when it says it is setting up and just hangs, no good.
Also, when the nodes don't connect there is no useful information. The Linksys Range extender I have gave me more information via the web page then this app on if they are two far or close.
Additionally, I've tried resetting the system, via the reset button, but I have no idea if that is working since I can't connect to the router except via the app and it doesn't tell me if it is back to default connection. Additionally, this app connects to your Velop via an Internet cloud connection. It is faster when your connected via wireless to the node, but still have that little cloud connection, and I'm not a fan of having to connect to a Cloud service that I can't two factor protect and won't use the full keyboard of symbols forcing me to use an extra-long password to protect my router.
This setup experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth and crippled what could be a good idea. The single router when it was working I checked my phone, and I know it is using both 5Gz and 2.4Gz still have me a strong signal throughout my house and only needs one. But I was looking forward to using this to extend some LAN ports to a few places and saving me a few 50ft. cords I have in the house. With the backhaul it would have been able to cover the data my switches have.
Other cons no USB ports so if you have a printer or USB HDD on your current router, you'll need to consider other options if you go with this.
I really wanted to like it, but not providing a customer with additional tools or an easy way via the app to reset or control the router is frustrating. I know my next step is to try this weekend to contact customer service open a case and see if they can fix it. But even if they get it working, the fact that I must use an Android App, and can’t use a desktop to manage it, makes me worry what will happen if it goes wrong or worse since it is app only what will happen when someone finds a vulnerability in the cloud service Linksys uses to connect back to the routers and start messing with them. I wish they would at least have some form of two factor and allow for more complex passwords, or at the very least once the initial setup is done disable the external web connection cloud service and only allow the app to work when I’m locally connected.
For everyone who got this to work I’m sure this will be the product, just hope you don’t have an issue that requires troubleshooting.
On the one working node I did test the speed and it seemed over wireless my EA9500 was more consistent and a bit faster from the same source and destination for a large file copy, but the Velop was close enough that most people wouldn’t notice anything. I also tested the single working node with some online gaming, both in the other Ethernet slot and wireless and I didn’t notice any performance impact. Since I can’t get all the nodes I have tested true load to report, but I’m sure others who have it working will, and I’m sure once I work with Linksys support I can get this system working it will be fine and provide me with spotless coverage. Just the whole having to use an app, and what I feel a limited and poorly designed app, and have it forced down on us with no backup connection has left a sour feeling and makes me worry about what will happen in the future if these devices go wonky, I won’t be able to troubleshoot, reset/fix as quickly as I could in the past and to be fair to Linksys this is a new product just out and they may fix the app and hopefully add other versions or allow access to the web service locally to manage them. Just know that if you are looking for a mesh like network this isn’t a bad router, but it seems to be crippled by an over simplified app, that is limited to two platforms and requires Internet connectivity to full function.

I bought it 7 days go to use as an extended monitor for my 2017 iMac. It seems dim. I connected another HDMI source to it and it is still dim. The colors are accurate. I just wish it were brighter. I will keep playing with it for the next few days in hopes of finding a solution, but as of now i think i will return it

You most likely need to adjust settings as there are quite a lot of them. I played with mine for about an hour before I got the best picture and I must say I absolutely love this monitor.

There are no batteries and this is not a true wireless system. The cameras will need to be plugged in. The signal from the NVR to the camera IS wireless, however.

There is no bag. The dust is stored in an on-board compartment that is easy to detach and empty. The 690 charges on the included base and will self-dock when the job is done. However, it won't dock itself just because the battery is low. Only when the job is done.

I have wi-fi on the router for AT&T service for the internet and phone, how would this benefit me?
The Velop replaces the traditional router and solves the dead spot/slower speed problem. If you aren't experiencing any issues with signal strength or dead spots with your current set up then the Velop probably won't benefit you.

So is my second node completely wellness? I just plug it in to power and it broadcasts the signal from the connected one? Can I use it in my basement then take it outside or even possibly my neighbors?
The nodes work together and need to be somewhat near each other. The app is required for setup and it checks to make sure the nodes are placed properly. If you took it outside or next door it might not be able to communicate with the other nodes.

Will you be offering the 2 pack? The 3 pack is unnecessary unless your house is over 5,000 sq ft.
I don't work for Best Buy but it appears they will be offering 1, 2 and 3 packs. According to their website anyway.

Will thoroughput spores be decreased? Wireless repeaters essentially halfed the wifi speed. Is there a significant loss in download speed with these devices?
I have experienced zero loss in speed. I was afraid of this too. I get 150 down and a full signal throughout my entire house. Before I had dead spots and slower speeds upstairs. Not an issue anymore. This is legit technology.

Yes. You will not need a router with the Linksys Velop. You just need a modem. The nodes work together as one replacing the traditional router.
