Excellent follow up album to Zombie. Everybody knows The Devil Wears Prada went a different route with with roots and branches... whether you like that or not will not determine if you'll like this album. I liked roots and branches when it came out but at that time that was the type of music I was into. Now I dislike the album and prefer Plagues and Zombie. So when Dead Throne came out I was amazed at how they retained the brutality of they band while not being cookie cutter and boring. It is a very dynamic album. Most of the keys are gone which helps it stand out in my opinion. Mainly I was pumped when i listened to 2 songs and didn't hear the constant pounding double bass that everyone came over in branches. The Devil Wears Prada has always had awesome vocals and theatrical themes and this album still carries that tradition. Look forward to next album... have listened to this since the day it came out and still fresh though. Dead throne really came out when I realized I was disappointed with all the bands I used to listen to released new albums... Attack Attack, As I Lay Dying, A Day to Remember, i could go on and on but that's not the point. BUY THIS ALBUM!
