Bought this cooktop a couple of weeks ago. It looks decent.
The cooktop comes with three wires (rather than 4-wires as other brands): red, black and ground (old standard). But the power supply in my kitchen has 4-wires: red, black, white and ground (new standard). The installation instruction has no any useful information on how to connect the 3-wire (old standard) cooktop to a 4-wire power supply (new standard). Called customer service, a guy told me to check the local building code ! Made a live chat with another guy, and was told he cannot help me and asked me to hire a local electrician!
A terrible experience with this purchase!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
