Enjoy a fast connection to the Internet with this modem that is compatible with most DSL providers and features a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet LAN port for easy connectivity. Firewall capability provides a secure connection to keep your data safe.

Does what it claims, but not much more

I use it in...:Large office
I purchased this DSL modem/firewall to replace my second 2Wire modem to fail (each one lasted about a year). So far it has been performing flawlessly. I subscribe to AT&T business class DSL and have been assigned 5 static IP addresses. With the old 2Wire modem, the gateway took one of the 6 IP addresses (29 bit subnet) and I had the other 5 to assign to any devices I wanted accessed from the outside (web server, vpn gateway, etc). With the Broadband ADSL2+ Modem, I cannot use my range of static IP addresses. All I can do is identify one internal device as the DMZ device and use the gateway IP address to get to my server. A bit disappointing because I expected more, but again it never claimed to do more than that. I'd recommend this if you're looking to replace an old flaky/failed DSL modem (if your requirements are simple), but if your needs are a bit more complex, such as supporting multiple public IP addresses, you should look elsewhere.
What's great about it: Easy on the wallet and easy to set up.
What's not so great: Cannot support advanced requirements, such as handling a subnet with multiple public IP addresses.
I would recommend this to a friend!
