Working on our second unit in four years. The first was replaced under warranty after it started cooling erratically. The current unit stopped cooling on the wine side and won't go below 56 - 60 degrees on the beverage side. Danby refuses to support their product; they are hard to reach and deny any liability.
What's great about it: Separate wine and beverage coolers
What's not so great: Durability
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
