The case is surprisingly sturdy and solid. Case provides easy access to the Surface and has an tntegrated stand that allows the Surface to be used inside of the case, also holds the keyboard. Case adds some heft to the tablet (approximately 3 lbs) which makes the Surface a little heavier if you carry it aorund. I carry my Surface in my backpack and travel through airports a bit. While the extra weight is not too bad, it is noticable. I do not like the slot for te pen is on the back of the case, so I used the attachment that came with the Surface for the pen and attached it to the back of my keyboard with the pen on the right side of the keyboard (I am right handed) for easy access and easy flat folding of the case with my Surface enclosed within it. Fortunately I have never dropped my Surface but it is my understanding that the case will protect against dropping. I bought my wife one of these cases but she doesn't like it as she carries her Surface in a slim bag and the case makes it too thick for her liking. Overall I would recommend the case especially for guys if you carry your Surface in a backpack like I do.

Owned since May 19, 2016. Waited to post review until I had the chance to use for awhile. Music - music plays very clearly and has great quality sound. I have played through wireless Bluetooth headset, wired noise canceling headset and interrogated unit in my car, all work flawlessly and sound quality is very good. I do not use the integrated equalizer function. I have taken photos and videos, both are of good quality and very clear. I have added my email and found that when deteling email from the iPod the emails are also deleted from my email account, this I do not like therefore I removed the email account from the iPod. I have added a couple of apps (two streaming music apps and 1 app to connect to a wireless Bluetooth speaker that I use on the deck, in the yard and office, sound quality is good and battery life is excellent. I have streamed music for several hours (4) and the battery level is still 70%. This was my first Apple product, I am an Android Guy, but I have been very pleased with the purchase.

I have owned this tablet for approximately 1 month. This is my first Windows 10 device. I was a bit concerned before buying this device because of the screen size, because I do wear reading glasses but this has not proven to be difficult at all. Pros - this device boots up very quickly and the apps launch very quickly. Boot time has averaged about 10 seconds and app launch time is averaging about 20 seconds. Internet navigation is quick as well. I have a Windows 7 PC at work and find that Windows 10 is a much more intuitive operating system. It only took a few moments to become accustomed to the new start menu and the Windows 10 functionality. While I have not downloaded much onto the Surface, I did purchase the 64 GB micro SD card to add additional storage if needed. Cons - The only thing that I do not like is after I upgraded my Home PC to Windows 10 the same settings on my PC displayed all devices which required me to alter my settings on my Surface after I had upgraded my Windows 7 PC to Windows 10. Summary - In summary I find the Surface Pro 3 with i5 processor and 128 GB storage to be more than adequate for my needs as power user.

Excellent Series, all Episodes Are Cliffhangers

I bought this series after the most recent season 24 Live Another Day Ended. I had never seen seasons 1 - 6, I started watching when Season 7 came out. Others had informed me that seasons 1 - 6 were great so I decided to buy the complete series two months ago. The first thing that struck me was the plot of each season and the unexpected twists and turns. There were people who turned out to be villains, that I would have never expected to be a villain. I started watching the series in June and have been totally engaged with every season thus far. In some episodes, the acting of a few characters is not that good, but the writing and action scenes totally offset and make up for that. I have found myself watching very late into the night some evenings because of the end of the previous episode had me hooked and wanting to see what happened next. Fortunately, I typically do not need a lot of sleep, otherwise I would've been a total waste at work the next day. If you are a fan of Kiefer Sutherland, action series and a fan of great writing, this is a must have. The only thing about this purchase that I do not like is the DVD Menu selection for every season do not have the option to "play all" which requires you to manually select every episode. This is inconsistent because the 1st season has this option, seasons 2 though 4 do not, then this menu selection is available again beginning in season 5. The other item that could use some improvement is the packaging, when I opened the first season the DVD holders inside were disheveled as if the package had not been totally assembled correctly. The same was true for season 4 which had a broken connector that holds the DVDs in place.
The DVD Extras are somewhat lacking although there are a few that add value and insight to the series. Overall, I highly recommend this purchase for any fan of the series and of Kiefer Sutherland.

Purchased to replace my wife's older full sized ;laptop with a 17" screen. My wife loves the features and has enjoyed exploring the windows 8 operating system. To assist with her productivity, I installed 2013 MS Office Suite Pro and the back lit keyboard. Due to the rather limited storage capacity if 128GB, I purchased a 1TB external hard drive for her to be able to load and store other programs. Thus far my wife is extremely pleased with this tablet/laptop. The only issue she has experienced is the keyboard has frozen a couple of time while she was sitting with the laptop on her lap and typing. This has happened two times but doesn't seem to be a continual problem. My wife transitioned from windows 7 to windows 8 and this has been a bit of an adjustment. She is still learning about the tablet/laptop. I have played around the laptop and also love its speed, the features and the apps. I like the start menu and the ability to launch from the main screen. I also like the the pen and the ability to use to capture screen shots. I dot not like One Note and how it launches every time MS Office is launched. This is probably a setting that I need to change but I have not figured it out yet. Overall, this is a great tablet/laptop that is very portable and compact, has lots of features and replaced a full sized laptop. Options purchased with this are: keyboard, external hard drive, Zagg HD Screen Protector, Carry Case. I recommend purchasing all of these additional items.

This TV has a crisp, clear picture from all source content. After the TV was installed, I connected it via WiFi to my home network and downloaded the software updates, there were quite a few and it took about 15 minutes to complete. After all updates were downloaded and installed, I configured the picture settings to my tastes (I prefer Dynamic) and began to test many different sources. The TV is connected to HD cable, Blu-ray, home theater and WiFi. Note that the internal TV speakers are just okay, I would highly recommend connecting to a home theater set-up with at least 5.1 surround sound, my set is connected this way however I have an older receiver that does not have an HDMI connection so the audio output is via digital coax but stills sounds great. I streamed some HD video content through Vudu (HDX format), played a Blu-ray disc, played a regular DVD, streamed Pandora, played a 3D HD movie through my cable provider. All content (Pandora excluded) played with crisp, clear video. The only issue that I have encountered thus far is synchronizing the picture and audio. Because the picture is so crisp and clear, it is easy to see a slight difference between the audio output and the onscreen movement of lips when people are speaking. It is most noticed in extreme close-ups of the actors. I have adjusted the audio delay on the TV and have just about eliminated the difference so I will have to adjust the audio delay on the home theater to see if I can eliminate it altogether.The Menu Items in the 3D Setup were not as easy to figure out when I wanted to activate the 3D feature and pair the Active 3D glasses that come with the set. It took me about 10 minutes to figure it out, pair the glasses and watch a bit of Wolverine 3D but once it was all set the picture was great. My wife loves the TV and is impressed with its picture quality (note my wife is very picky and notices everything). Thus is my forth Samsung TV and the second SMART TV, I would recommend this to anyone considering purchasing a SMART TV. Final note, this is a Curved TV one thing that my wife noticed is that when a light is turned on in the room, there is no on-screen glare coming from from the light source to distract viewers, she noticed this before I did and I consider myself to be the videophile in the household.

The stand looks great with black tempered glass, and black metal frame, this looks fantastic. I put the stand together without any assistance so it took a bit longer (2 hours) than it would have if I had someone helping me. After the stand was assembled, I placed the tempered glass shelves on it. This stand has 3 shelves. The top 2 shelves fit perfectly and are property aligned. The bottom shelf is aligned perfectly except for the rear left corner. The alignment appears to be about one-forth of an inch off. It is in the corner at the rear and is not visible but I was a bit disappointed that the alignment was not a perfect fit all the way across. I decided to keep the stand even with the slight defect. On it are a 40" SMART LED, PS3, HD Cable Box and a Sounbar on the bottom shelf. As indicated earlier, it looks great, even my wife who has more traditional tastes told me it looked great with everything put together.

Very good basic charging station. Allows users to watch tablet and charge it at the same time. Holds tablet fairly securely at an angle good for watching. Has audio out but no cord included to connect to an external speaker. Must use power cord that comes with tablet to connect dock to power outlet. Tablet is easy to insert into to dock with one hand. Overall a bit pricey at $35.00 for nothing more than the dock stand with no connectors. Would recommend if you need to watch and charge tablet at the same time.
What's great about it: Allows user to watch and charge tablet
What's not so great: Connectors for audio and power not included

I have owned this tablet since mid 2012. It is great, when I first got it I hoped to be able to retire my work laptop however I am not able to access the intranet at work due to firewall restrictions, so it is a personal use toy. I use it everyday for watching videos, surfing the web, checking personal email. I have added the 32gb micro sd card to increase storage. I have loaded 11 full lentth movies onto the external memory, the tablet performs well and I have experienced very few problems.Positives = crystal clear screen and images, great sound, great screen size (10.1), good speed searching the web. Negatives = no bluetooth keyboard, additioanl products like docking station, car charging kit, and HDMI hook-up for TV only available through manufacturer, tech support through manufacturer is weak, reps do not really know what their own products will do. I did experience a problem a few weeks back where the operating system was displaying the formuals (codes) in the upper right hand cirner of the screen overlayed on top of whatever else I was doing. I resolvced the issue by performing a factory datae reset. I had all of my apps and othe data backed up in my gmail account, so everything was retstored when I singed into gmail on the tablet. One note of caution, although I removed the sd card before performing the factory reset, after rebooting and installing the sd card, none of the digital copies of the movies loaded on the tablet would play after the factory reset. I had to obtain digital copies of al my blurays again to load onto the laptop. Other than that issue, I have been extremely satified with the tablet, but I will also note that if you are not technically saavy, the manafactures tech support department does not offer any assistance I was able to obtain better advice from the Best Buy Geek Squad reps when I had question about how to perform a task. Overall, this is a very good tablet and I would recommend it to anyone considering purchasing one.

Each season as more and more supernatural beings are revealed, the suspense becomes greater. For those who believe in good sprirts, the introduction of sprirts with an evil or dark side may be disturbing. From a technical standpoint, I love the fact that the Bluray comes with DVD and Digital copies of the series. If you have a Vudu accout and a Vudu enabled mobile device, you can watch these at home or on the go. Of course buying the series at the sale price is a big plus. I have all 4 seasons on Buray, purchased on sale at a 50% reduced price, with DVD and Digital copies which is, as we say in South Louisiana, " lagniappe!" "a little something extra!"
What's great about it: the continual evolution of the storyline
What's not so great: If you're a real True Blood fan, nothing

how do I set up email
My tablet says the master sync is turned off- how do I fix this?
Turn on Master Sync:
1 - Access tablet Setting Menu
2 - Select Email
3 - Select Common Settings > Settings (sync frequency, notifications, etc.)
4 - Select the Email Account in Account Settings
5 - Place a check in the box Sync Email
6 - Select the frequency of sync
This should correct the issue.
