I thought the 3d would be better. While this is an added feature as the 1st Iron Man movie wasn't in 3d, I would of assumed more money would of been spent on the effects. But it is still worth the money to add it to your Marvel collection

this by far has the best 3d effects that I have ever seen! It is well worth the price! The audio is ok too and while the movie is a bit long as I said the effects well make up the difference!

The 3D experience is ok not the greatest but the both combined is better than average! and for 10 bucks you can't go wrong

Bought these when my old speakers needed upgrading for my new 4k LG TV! Couldn't be happier as the surround sound audio is amazing! I like to play the sound load (around 70 on the vol dial) and the speakers blow you away! The area in my family room designated for the media area is 15 x 20 and I find the audio to be rich and encompassing! Grant you the only draw back is the sub woofer, appears to "blend" with the center and 2 front speakers, but you still get rich bass tones and precise trebles! (If you like the big booming sound this woofer won''t give you that but rather a wonderful blend of basses making it great for movies)

Bought this to use with my 4K LG 3D tv and couldn't be happier! The 360 which I previously had would sometimes shutdown after 5 hours or more (which one can use while watching a few movies), whereas this model goes and goes for hours. I do find the clarity of the apps to be better on the smart tv (clearer) but if one uses this strictly for watching 3d or blue ray movies, you'll be amazed at the audio and visual effects!

upgraded my LG 65" HD TV to this 4K 3D model and love it! The blacks are richer, the sound more awesome and the apps a breeze to use!
I haven't had it re-calibrated yet and not even sure if it needs it but most likely will in the spring with the geek Squad of course as they have been awesome every step of the way!! Note: the 3D movies are the best with every detail and the 4K streaming with the Netflix app is amazing. (make sure to get the 4k steam package from Netflix to enjoy top performance and make sure your internet speed is at least at 30)

The set only has 2 HDMI inputs and NO audio out in RCA, only optical out. Now I have to spend $400+ to buy a new receiver with optical in, when the Kenwood 7.1 surround system I have is perfectly fine!

I had the same issue when I bought a higher end 3D larger unit two years ago and found out that most newer TV's are built the exact same way. The Kenwood sound system you have, although good for it's time, is like the one I had and in today's time considered Old.
I used the older Kenwood sound system on one of my older TV's elsewhere in the house and got a newer updated surround sound system for the LG TV. (Now I have the best of both)

They replaced the tv because the 3-D feature did not work right. Now the second tv is doing no better and also has issues with the voice being out of sink. Now the new part is on back order and can't get until first part of February. This has been going on since December 15th. I am ready to go back to a brand I can trust.

I bought this back in 9/14 and find it wonderful!! The issue could possibly be with your cable provider and not the TV itself! I know the LG I had in 2011 which was just HD and not 4K, had trouble with the voice not being in sync and a couple other issues and it turned out to be Blue Ridge, which has thus correctly the issues.

an update is I decided to do some minor tweaks with my on screen speaker format and now the sub woofer is just amazing !! It blends wonderfully with the other speakers to produce a true experience of audio pleasure!

Bought model WMH76718AW on 2/19/13. Stopped heating on 1/25/15.
Whirlpool will not replace or repair because extended warranty is over. Whirlpool does not stand behind their products. They recommend repairing it and purchasing an extended warranty for the repair. That will make this a $1000 piece of garbage. I will never buy another Whirlpool (Maytag, Amana, etc.) product again. Also, my Whirlpool dishwasher doesn't clean dishes. Stay away from Whirlpool products. Quality, durability, and follow up service are terrible.

just a word of caution

I am already on my 3rd GE microwave. I think all of them no matter what brand make the products now so that they will fail after the warranties are up!! My first 2 both failed a month after the 1 year mfg warranties and the 3rd is now starting to fail after 2 years!!! While it i doesn't make me feel warm and fuzzy about Whirlpool products it does make me realize to stay away from GE and now Whirlpool. Also Ge will not honor a repair out of warranty either unless you want to pay huge amounts or if you bought the extended expensive warranty!!

Is the Calibration Service I purchased, truly "good for life"?
I plan on moving within the next year and want to ensure my new 4K purchase can indeed be calibrated now (after 100-15 hours of use of course) and again once I move and the TV is in a new environment.
Just an FYI I went to the store and the manager (no questions) gave me a full refund on the calibration!!)So once again by buying an LG TV you do not need the calibration done as the presets are just as good or better!
