Good Value, but make sure you got what you ordered

I purchased 5 of these laptops.
2 of the 5 shipped without a power adapter
After calling BestBuy they have issued a refund for the value of the adapter so I can order two of them.
After calling BestBuy they have issued a refund for the value of the adapter so I can order two of them.
1 of the 5 has a 500GB spinning disk in it not the 128gb SSD as advertised. I will be calling about this next... I assume BestBuy will make it right.
If your buy one just make sure you got what you paid for...

Also check the memory... some of them only have 4GB when it supposed to have 8GB...

2) I seriously doubt it is much good for any heavy editing the graphic card is week.
3) just get the mac... They are purpose built for such tasks.
Your editing 4K video I assume you have spent some money on a camera, dont cheap out on a laptop that you will hate using to edit.

Can the screen resolution be set at 1920 x 1080 rather than the native 3840 x 2560 that is recommended? Also, when gaming (Everquest 2) it it normal for the top of the laptop to become hot using medium game settings?
Yes you should be able to set the res lower, you will likely notice that text is not as sharp.
The computer will get warm during process intensive tasks such as gaming. You will likely notice that the fans are making more noise, they are running faster in order to dissipate the heat away from the cooling system. When you say top of the computer I think you mean the area near the hinge on the horizontal surface, not the top of the screen. I have never seen one get warm on the screen. I'm an IT professional that has purchased Lenovo exclusively for over 5 years, yet to see one hot on the top edge of the screen...
