While the product seems to work, it is somewhat confusing. The word "Tip" is molded into one side of the plug on the end of the cord, and "+" and "-" symbols are on either side of the tip. The tip will only go into the plug one way, which reads as "tip" "-". The manual, on the other hand, describe the product as tip-positive, and warns against using it for tip-negative applications. I verified it really is tip-positive with a multimeter before using it.
