I have owned a lot of Roombas and returned them all because they were basically dumb robots. I purchased a Neato which are very intelligent and do a great job of vacuuming , but after 3 months you start getting error codes that are all software related that Neato fails to fix but keeps pumping out new bots inspite of this, I had to return them 5 times in 8 months, not to mention they have no repair shop after warranty expires and awful customer service. I returned all those as well even though I hated to because I did love its performance and intelligence. So finally IRobot decides to implement some of the technology that the Neato and other robots started years ago, hence my 4 star rating. IRobot has great customer service, and repair after the warranty runs out, so this is the PRICE you have to pay for that, which is pretty steep. Im happy that the Roomba 980 vacuums In straight lines, remembers where its been, and recharges and leaves again to finish the job if the battery ran low during the cleaning cycle. However!!! with the Roomba set to automatically switch to high gear on carpet, it only vacuums my 1900sq ft level for 45 minutes (which is comparable to the Neato when I had it, and my carpet is in the living room only, which is about 12 x 15 medium pile thick) it does recharge and continues where it left off. BUT this is where the real disappointment comes in, it DOESNT stay in one room and move to the next like the Neato, and it DOESNT work with the lighthouses from the 800 series to keep it in one room and then move to the next. For this price I expected to have this. It does vacuum very well. But without those two features I couldn't decide if I wanted to keep it for this price. However, I am sure that IRobot will come out with an update to fix this instead of producing another Roomba that will do this. In fact, if they come out with a new Roomba that will do this at a steeper price instead of updating this 980 to do it, I will never buy another IRobot product, im tired of playing the game. So as of now I am keeping it, as it does perform very well. I have only had it 3 days so I will update if it starts throwing error codes in the next couple months.

This is a very nice printer, prints are deep and rich with color, I bought this to replace my canon ix6520 which I became unhappy with the 5 minute nozzle cleaning every time I wanted to print, the Epson 1430 prints blow away the ix6520, when I compared the same photos from each printer, the canon ix6520 prints look like they have a haze to them and the colors are duller and aren't deep and rich like the Epson. The only down side to this printer is best buy only carries the black, magenta, cyan cartridge pack. I printed in color 8 11x14 prints and 200 4x6 prints on the best photo setting and it used half of the light cyan, light magenta, and yellow. Not to bad at all for these ink guzzlers these days. I print from lightroom 5 and found that I needed to use perceptual and not relative to get the right colors, as my daughter had a blue shirt on in a picture and when I used relative it came out purple. I have not printed a black and white picture as some people have said it doesn't print black and whites well. I will have to come back and update my post when I do. This printer does print well with canon papers, inkpress is lovely, and great with Ilford paper. I seen somewhere someone said it didn't print with Ilford paper well at all and I can tell you this is not true, I used the best photo setting along with the Epson premium glossy icc profile for both the ilford smooth pearl and inkpress luster and the results were perfect.

I am not a photographer, but I can tell you this camera is such an upgrade from a D7000 and probably a D7100. I cant believe the pictures I can take in near darkness and the noise it totally usable. In real world everyday use I took pictures of my kids trick or treating with no flash with the included lens!!!! If I try to do that with my D7000 I would have so much black noise its terrible. This is definitely the new low light camera at an affordable price. I also love that I can send the pictures to my smart phone right from the camera!!!! This is Fantastic!!!

IRobot really needs to improve the scooba and Roomba cleaning pattern, with the same technology as the braava/mint and neato vacuums. Im sorry but I am not digging this scooba for the price at all, first feel when i took it out of the box was the quality isn't there in the craftsmanship like the roombas, cheep plastic. The performance isn't there for the price due to the fact it misses a bunch of spots, and on my tile floor, the tracks from the tires were awful. When I emptied the dirty water bin it was dirty, but there sure wasn't a lot of dirty water in there, as if it left a lot on the floor, the bin was not even half full of dirty water, for the price the bin should be at least half full of dirty water, it shouldn't miss spots in open areas, and should not leave tire streaks, its a no go for me, bought the mint instead and love it.

Good on tile and hardwood, spinny foot flicks crumbs out to middle of floor leaving you hoping it goes back over that area to pick it up in its crazy cleaning pattern, sweeps over only the tops of carpet doesn't get in deep. I also bought a neato signature pro and it blows Roomba out of the water, and the neato picked up more hair on my bare floors than Roomba ever did. Sorry IRobot you need improvements. Good on bare floors but not great.

I have had this for almost a month and people let me tell you, the dirt bin when its finished vacuuming contains the same carpet fibers, hair, paper pieces, cereal, and anything else you usually find in your upright vacuum, this neato is amazing!! It blows that tazmanian devil Roomba out of the water. When this neato vacuums my carpeted areas it looks like i vacuumed because of its forward and backward path. I love that if its battery gets low it docks itself and recharges (usually 45 minutes) and then goes to where it left off, simply freakin amazing. Yes i had the Roomba and its tazmanian devil movements and it never picked up what this neato does, in fact my carpet when the Roomba left tracks looked like my kids had been playing around with my office chair rolling it around all over, and the carpet never got fluffed up. The neato looks like someone vacuumed. The only thing about neato is there is not side suction, so a crumb that is by base boards it will not pick up, but it will suck up hair from the edge, but i would not hesitate to by another one just because of that, sure the Roomba has the spinny foot but it would just flick the crumbs across the room and you would get lucky if it picked it up later in its crazy cleaning pattern. Just try this neato and ignore all this battery issue i read about before buying, mine is going strong and no problems what so ever, it runs everyday on 2200 sq ft of floor, it came with two brush rolls, but i only use the one with the bristles, which are the same quality as what is on vacuum cleaners, stiff enough to get into your carpet, they don't just sweep whats on top of carpet like the Roomba does. If i had the money to buy another one i would for my upstairs, but for now i just carry the neato up there. Great on thick carpet, tile, and wood floors.

I bought this at best buy as an open item at a very cheap price, way under advertise clearance price right now, that's why I bought it or I wouldn't have thought twice. But I am so impressed with this thing I had to leave a review which I normally don't do. I charged this mint up and it took about 7 hours just to get it to 80%, I also had not mopped my floor in about a week in a half, now I didn't have a lot of soil stuck on mess but in one spot, the floor was mostly dust particles but enough you could see on my dark tile floor, I tried it out and it left streaks in mopping mode with Swiffer wet cloths, now having a Swiffer I new this was going to happen because my floor was filthy so give your floor a good mopping before you use this for the first time if it is indeed filthy, or at least dust mop before with the mint, as I did already vacuum with my neato signature pro, which im going to leave a review for today as well (on the neato page of course#, so I also got the scooba 390 in mail as well, so I immediately used this after the mint had mopped, it got the streaks up, and missed a whole lot of spots, i was not impressed and it didn't get the gunky spot up either, so i went to my wood floor with the mint, let it dust mop first, then put the Swiffer wet pad on, to my surprise no streaks, i took it back in the kitchen and let it mop again on tile, no streaks and got up what the scooba missed!!!! I also like the fact it doesn't leave tire track streaks like the scooba did. so im returning the scooba and have ordered the mint plus as i have a lot of bare floor and the mint 4200 just isn't enough because it takes so long to charge before you can use it again, but im not going to take away a star for that as this review is for its performance, but since i paid such a low price im keeping the mint 4200. yes it only comes with one cube but my kitchen is about 600sq ft and it did just fine, i just took the cube in the other room to do my other dining room area and entry way. I ordered the mint plus instead of the braava because the mint has wider cleaning path, and the plus has the turbo charge cradle which recharges in 2 hours, where as braava with turbo charge cradle takes 4 hours. Also this particular model mint 4200-A #which is the one i have) is also compatible with the pro cleaning reservoir that the mint plus uses and the braava, i ordered it directly from iRobot for 32 bucks with a fifteen percent of coupon, it was originally like 35 bucks. you can easily maintain your floors with this, i love the fact i can go do some other unappreciated house work while this thing is mopping/dusting for me. i have 3 kids and a husband who are continually in and out and i just don't want to dust mop or mop everyday, this is definitely going to make my life a lot easier.

it does stop cleaning once it has covered entire floor, I guess I have so much bare floors that It did drain the battery completely, sorry about my mistake, I had it clean just the bathroom, and it didn't drain the battery.

have to take back what i said not five stars

here it is day 32 and I am having the clear my path issues everyday it takes off to clean, waited 30 minutes for customer service to answer, they also have no repair on these machines so when it breaks you have to throw it away, im returning back to best by and getting the tazmanian devil Roomba, I will just have to vacuum my carpet my self, but I have more bare floor than anything, this is a shame, I really really loved this neato, but im not going to be stuck with a 500 dollar machine with errors after the first month of having it.

I guess my dh had been messing with the roomba so I must update that it did do the entire floor on one charge today. About 1.5 hours it cleaned my whole floor level. Still doesn't get another star though. Sorry for the inconvience. I wish best buy would let us edit our reviews.

I bought these 100% due to the advertisement that stated "can be used as a stand alone device, with free cloud storage" I followed the directions and set up my cameras and the app. and still had no cloud storage. I was told by customer support (who are never open by the way, and you only get voicemail when they are) to update the firmware. They gave me no direction of how to update the firmware when I asked.
I searched online to find directions to update firmware. It only ever crashed my app again and again. Once again, customer support was no help.
The video quality as decent. the motion detection was very sensitive and mildly helpful. The audio was great, the pan and zoom worked great. If i wanted to spy on someone this thing would be perfect. However I wanted cloud storage so I could look back if something went wrong. These cameras did not work as advertised and customer support was useless.

Had so much potential but fell short and ended being worthless when it counted. I had a forced entry onto my property, the sensors worked great but the camera failed to record anything. It never detected movement or recorded. I had multiple calls with customer support and their help fell flat like the product. I woke up to vandalism on my property and I checked the camera, as usual nothing was detected or recorded. Returning this item to find a more reliable system.

A hidden menu we missed for the camera to detect

Hi, like you i have had the issue of it not detecting motion or sound till today i finally found what it is and dam i dont know why this is a seperate setting from the camera menu but here is the hidden menu you need to go to. Open the app, on the controller page where it says arm disarm etc hit edit then hit the panic then select add new mode and name it Arm all Sensors and Cameras then scroll down and turn every sensor and camera option on then click again on the drop down box where you created the new name and it will save then make sure you select the new name in that drop down above that instead of the word panic then hit done and then done again on next screen. I cant believe it took a freaking year for me to figure this out and for them to set that up like that is ridiculous. But there is your fix. Now enjoy your camera.
