Like watching a piece of TV history

Before this version of A Christmas Carol was released I found many good reviews on the soundtrack and even some who remember watching The Stingiest Man in Town live in 1956. I ordered it with high hopes and was pleasantly surprised. Remember that it's a live musical version seen only in 1956, and the quality only as good as the 55 year old source, and I think you'll enjoy it too. It's a welcome addition to my Christmas Carol collection.
What's great about it: Finally released on DVD
What's not so great: Lacking in extra features
I would recommend this to a friend!
