This refrigerator was the color, size and style that I was seeking with a reasonable price. Within a couple of months it stopped cooling so I called service. The rep told me to unplug it and replug it to reset it. It worked. I was not compensated for the spoiled food and they REFUSED to send a service person out to see it. This happened three times under warranty. The warranty ran out about 1 1/2 months ago and it is happening again except this time it won't reset. Frigidaire agreed to pay for the parts but not the labor even though this is a pre-existing condition. GET THIS: the extended warranty won't pay for pre-existing conditions. I reiterate, DO NOT buy this refrigerator or any Frigidaire product. Service after the sale is non-existent.
What's great about it: It is cheap
What's not so great: Frigidaire refused to repair while under warranty
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is hard to be too dissapointed in this refrigerator given my approach to buying it. I filtered by color, size and water-in-the-door, displayed by price low to high and took the lowest price. Of course, you get what you pay for.
Good: The fridge chills the food quite well. No problems with the cooling. The ice maker makes ice VERY fast.
Not impressed: The water in the door is not chilled. It is tap cold only. The ice dispenser mouth is so wide that unless the mouth of the glass used to catch it is huge, ice shoots all over the floor. It is much louder than I would have expected for a new refrigerator. I didn't spend much time picking it out...I'll be more careful next time.
What's great about it: Fast ice maker
What's not so great: Thru-the-door water is not cold, loud
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
