An intelligent Sci-fi flick

The blu-ray has excellent video and audio. This movie is a cut above the typical "shoot-em-up" action movies.

Excellent box, with a little tinkering

I love this little thing. It doesn't get too warm and it is super fast. I put XBMC on it, so that it could play files from a network drive, and it works like a pro - playing any file type I've thrown at it so far. I hooked up a USB keyboard to it, and had no problems. (I didn't have to root it to do this.) The only suggestion would be to allow it to play files off an attached drive, but it won't.

Good little streaming device

I bought this to play media files off a network drive and save my PS3. This plays whatever I've thrown at it, with whatever sound the file has - stereo, 5.1, etc.

The remote is functional, but it seems to have a narrow field of responsiveness, and has a slight delay.

This would be perfect if it could stream Amazon Instant Video. Hopefully they will include it soon.

What's not so great: No Amazon streaming, responds slowly to remote

Great comic book adaptation

This show is a great example of how a comic book should be adapted for TV. (Marvel's Agents of SHIELD should really take notice!) Information is trickled out each episode which reveals Ollie's time on the island. It seems that island time in flashbacks is equivalent to how much "current time" has passed (i.e. after the show has been on a year, we will have seen a year on the island, as well).

There are some complaints that the character doesn't stay true to the comic book, but if you are patient, things develop. Some developments don't pay off until the second season.

The picture looks great, and it comes with an excellent 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. There are a bunch of well-done, in-depth extras that make the set really worth-while.

This release compiles all 13 episodes from the fourth season of the NBC sitcom Community, starring Joel McHale as the sardonic leader of a wacky study group. This season of the show is notable as it was the first to be created without input from series creator Dan Harmon, who was fired from the program, but returned for its fifth season.

Still better than most TV

This season was not as good as the previous seasons, but, still, Community at its worst is still better than most shows on TV these days. When Dan Harmon was running things, even the most outlandish episodes were grounded in reality - they had a reason for being that way, perhaps they took place in someone's mind and we were seeing what that character saw, or something like that. This season went outside the bounds of the real world in some episodes for no reason.

There are plenty of special features, including a bunch of commentaries.

Also, they turned Chevy Chase's character into a caricature of his former self. And that just wasn't fun to watch.

At least Harmon is back in charge for the 5th season!
