I have had this watch for a week and no complaints about any of it. It is as advertised and like other reviews have stated, if you are looking for an item to monitor steps, there are less expensive products on the market. As far as the GPS for running purposes, it connects almost immediately and is dead on perfect with the distances and course feedback. I have read some complaints about the brightness of the screen especially at night or during cloudy/darker times but there is a back light that comes on when you push the power button and works fine.
If you are looking for a fitness monitor and watch with a built in Heart rate monitor, i would highly recommend this product.
