I have used this for years and still like it.. The interface is the best looking of the competition. The phone app works great for the remote.. just wish the remote was Bluetooth

Phone size:Just right
This is the only phone that has taken me from apple, I love the widgets on the screen and the menu and back buttons on the phone.. it took a while to get used to formatting the phone (way easier on iPhone ) but once I did the note 2 has more ways to personalize your phone..
my only gripes on the phone are from the apps like the mail app. much easier from iPhone to view pics, save and upload.. but I am sure after a few more updates Google play will catch up.. the rounded off edges makes it hard to push the buttons on the side of the phone if you have a case on it.. and I don't like that the screen stays on when I am making a call, and my face will push a button...
but over all the screen size it what I will stay with from now on, no more little screens for me...

Roku 3 will not work
I recently purchased 2 Roku 3's. I have had them 2 months since I purchased one of them for a gift after my granddaughter's recent surgery. When trying to set up the Roku that I kept, I never got any type of setup screen. I tried 2 different HDMI cables as well as 2 different ethernet cables, trying to use it wireless or wired. I moved the Roku to 4 different television sets in the house. So far no response from the Roku at all. The reset button did nothing. My son (father of the granddaughter that one of these was purchased for) tried all of the same with me and nothing worked. He is an engineer and very good with electronics so I don't think he should have much trouble setting up a simple Roku. Any suggestions?? I think I may have a faulty unit. I have not contacted Best Buy yet. I did not realize the return period was only 14 days. I hope they will resolve this satisfactorily if it is a faulty unit. Right now, I don't know what to try next.
If you don't see the home page than it's probably the hdmi cables.. But it's in the settings part..

Any size will work.

Can not use app on Android tablet, as it does not recognize my password with my e mail address...now what ???
All my stuff is apple and they all work fine.. I would restart everything and try again..

Can I use the mirroring feature with my Macbook Pro?
I have an Android phone, but I also have a Macbook Pro. I want to know if the Roku's mirroring will work with my Macbook, just like it works with the Apple TV?
I would say no.. But I'm sure someone will be able to figure it out.. Mine does not work with it at all..

If it has a voice search magnifying glass on the remote than it is.. But the roku 4 is out now..
