Great Full Sound, Great Clarity

These were installed in the Soundbar of my 2000 Wrangler. I had Polk DXI 650s in the soundbar, but had just installed an amp - and the amp just drove the highs on the Polks to an unmanageable high pitch. I replaced them with the Alpine SPR-60s. Much better sounding speaker. There is a difference in fullness. It does take more power to drive the Alpine speakers - as their sensitivity is 88 where the Polks are 91.

The sound of the Alpines are fuller, deeper, and the highs are right where they need to be. My soundbar has already been lined with Dynamat and polyfilled. I am happy with these speakers - so much that I just replaced the Polks in front with Alpine SPR-50s.

Make driving more enjoyable with this JBL car amplifier. Its four channels power the front and rear speakers, and its high and low inputs integrate with virtually any car stereo. This JBL car amplifier has variable crossovers and a bass boost circuit for precision tuning and a compact size to fit in tight spaces.

Excellent, Clear Sound

This amp was installed by Geek Squad in a 2003 Mustang convertible. The amp is clean and clear sounding.... and brings out the full sound of the Alpine speakers. It is a smaller amp with cool styling. Very happy with the sound - would definitely buy again.

These speakers feature Balance Driver technology for pure sound and a neodymium driver magnet for minimal distortion. The 93dB sensitivity picks up the highs and lows for faithful sound reproduction.

Good product, but didn't work for me...

Got a pair of these 5 1/4" Polk DXI's to replace the ones in my Wrangler's sound bar.
Installed one, and couldn't tell a difference really.
I wound up returning them, but stayed with the Polk DXI line and got the 6.5" Polk speaker - which albeit a larger size, easily mounted into the existing hole already in the sound bar.
Speakers need air space behind them to have a fuller sound, and the Jeep is surely limited. My advice would be to go bigger if you can. The 6.5"'s Polk DXI have a noticeable fuller sound to them.
A great plus is this Polk DXI line of speakers can handle a little humidity and moisture as they are Marine Rated,
I have always like Polk Audio (have them for my patio speakers and for my entertainment room set-up) and will buy from Polk in the future.
What's great about it: Well built & marine rated
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dissapointing
By Nothingness from Rancho Cucamonga, CA
I was surprisingly disappointed (as I LOVE Samsung). I had bought the 55" version of this TV and was WAY happier with the quality of the 55". I had to return the 55" for personal reasons, walked around the floor, saw the 60" for $100 more and shouted "sold!" haha. Went home with my fiance, plugged it in, and wow we felt like we just downgraded. The size is great but the refresh rate looks like GARBAGE. The picture was clear but fast motion (even just an actor moving their head really fast across the screen) sent a good 5 ghost images in the process (no change of settings would fix it). We were NOT happy. So we took it back and got the SHARP 60" LC-60LE600U and I am 100% happy with the SHARP, it blows this TV and its 55" model out of the water! Even though the SHARP is 120Hz the quality and refresh rate is 100x better. Please check out the SHARP LC-60LE600U before buying this TV; its $100 cheaper, more HDMI slots, better menu control, better image quality (although not as wide of a screen as this Samsung) and just an overall happier purchase.

Another great purchase
December 20, 2012
I bought the 55" Samsung LED on Black Friday and added it to my man cave (already have an LED and LCD in the cave). . The picture was soooo clear, and lifelike - that I couldn't help but want the same picture on the family room tv. So went out and purchased this 60" inch model.
The picture is just as good on the 60" as it is on the 55". Samsung's picture makes an average picture look 3D like (without being 3D).The Sharp tv also has a good picture, but not with the vividness given from the light engine on the Samsungs. For $100 more, the Samsung is so much worth it.
As far as the internal speakers go, if you are using HDTV technology, invest in a a/v receiver. There is no excuse to not use an a/v receiver. Plug all your components into the receiver, and you have one hdmi going from the receiver to the Samsung. No issues with internal speakers or number of hdmi inputs.
I would 100 percent buy this Samsung LED tv again, and would recommend this tv to anyone.

Good for the most part
By Sleighj1
It's a pretty good stereo except for (like a lot of other reviews) the display is way too dim and hard to see the screen in daytime. Plus the stereo all though the description and the guy who installed it said it would be able to read my phone book in my phone but it would not (no matter how many times I tried) sync my phonebook from my phone. And yes you can make phone calls as the stereo has Bluetooth it is extremely difficult for the people on the receiving end of my phone calls to hear me everone tells me I sound like I'm really far away. so I just don't use that feature as I don't know how to adjust the volume on the Mic. Other than those few things it works pretty good.

You can adjust the microphone sensitivity with the built in settings - under BT. - look for the setting MIC GAIN - it will adjust from -10 to +10.... the sensitivity of the mic increases as the number increases.
You can also adjust the display if you are finding it too dim...
DISPLAY SETTINGS
Set the dimmer
Press and hold
DISP (DIMMER)
to turn on or off the dimmer.
