This movie has always been a favorite of mine. Cord the Seeker (Cooper) sets out on a defiant quest to defeat a master and read a sacred book that he guards. Along the way, Cord is guided by a blind master (Carradine), through various trials, to find that things are not always as they seem. This is not so much a Martial Arts movie as it is a movie about philosophy. A very good story, mediocre acting.
"Tie two birds together, and though they have four wings, they cannot fly." - The Blind Man
Then again...
"A horse has no udders and a cow can't whinny and up is down and sideways is straight ahead..." - Cord the Seeker
What's great about it: A great story written by the man himself. Bruce Lee!
What's not so great: I am not overly fond of Jeff Cooper or David Carradine
