This vent mount allows you to keep your Garmin nüvi or StreetPilot GPS close at hand while you're on the go. The removable design and 2 semiremovable vent clips allow for customized use.

This item was great right out of the box. Easy to install and stayed attached to the air vent pretty well. Now that I've had it for a month or so the clips that attach to the air vents seem to have lost their "grip." The spring-less clips are loosening and not holding to the air vent very well at all so that when I accelerate or turn quickly the device falls off and my GPS unit lands either on the floor or in my lap.
What's great about it: works well initially
What's not so great: doesn't work after loosing its gripping ability
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
