setup was a nightmare. This is my first smart TV. The setup instructions were actually 8 pages of cartoons. When you cut the TV on, it goes through a series of questions that are supposed to set it up (with this annoying computer voice in the background speaking rapidly). There was NO explanation of what the different choices meant! The TV didn't seem to have a setup for my cable box and it couldn't find my wifi (even though it listed above 10 other networks). Luckily customers had been complaining about the same things on a different model so I followed their directions and got the thing setup. Now for the good part, the picture is great. I particularly like the upscaler since my cable does not come in 4K. I have found some 4K videos on youtube and they are stunning on the TV. For those interested, the TV comes with a standard remote. The setup was a nightmare but the results are great!

for the DVD drive. This computer is perfect for running my software and playing midrange games (with the Nvidia graphics card). However, there is something seriously wrong with the DVD drive. This is actually my second computer. I only had the original computer a few days when the geek squad determined the DVD drive was faulty. I got a new computer. Sadly this DVD drive is unstable. Sometimes it runs and sometimes it doesn't. On the new computer I have discovered that the software that Dell sent wan't correctly configured to work with this drive which caused the DVDs to play at about 1x speed. Also sometimes when I take a DVD out of the tray, something doesn't notice. If I need to play a different DVD, I have to restart the computer to reset things. If playing DVDs are really important to you, this computer may not be the one for you. Except for playing DVDs, I love it though.
