Exactly what you can expect from Def Tech

I spent a great deal of time searching for a good sounding outdoor speaker. I tried the Yamaha NS-AW390BL and they had no bass to speak of and the sound quality wasn't much better. I listened to the Klipsch AW 650 and they sounded good. I wasn't able to listen to the Def Tech's before purchasing so knowing my experience with Def Tech quality and reading tons of good reviews, I took a chance and ordered. This speaker has amazing sound quality and bass, even outdoors. I have these connected to a Sonos Connect amp. Since the speakers are 8 ohms they're only receiving 55 watts each. Even still these speakers are loud and are a audiophiles dream come true for outdoors. These speakers are a larger speaker, but still tucked neatly under my soffits. Sure these are a little more expensive than the others, but they are well worth the money. If you just want something to make some noise out side, don't waste the extra money on the Def Tech's. However, if you're an audiophile that enjoys a well balanced great sounding speaker, then AW6500's are what you want.

Got the matching set. This dryer is massive and has a stainless steel lighted tub. We washed 2 loads in the full size washer and 1 load in the pedestal sidekick washer. Put everything in the dryer. Took about an hour to dry everything on low heat. Left the clothes in overnight to wrinkle. I wanted to test the steam feature. The next day the shirts were full of wrinkles. Set the dryer to the steam fresh cycle. After 11 min everything came out looking perfect. This dryer contrary to the other reviews is Apple IOS compatible. I downloaded the Smart ThinQ app from LG rather than the Apple App Store. Connection was easy. The app allows full control of the W/D and all their cycles. You get alerts when your clothes are done and you can also watch the progress of your cycles and estimated completion time on your phone. Love this set!

With 14 wash cycles and a large-capacity design, this washer makes it easy to do laundry for the whole family. ThinQ technology lets you remotely start the washer and monitor the cycle with your smartphone. Plus, you can download special cycles, monitor energy usage and more. Five temperature settings allow precise adjustments, and steam helps detergents to dissolve properly for a deep clean.

We upgraded from a 10yr old Kenmore Elite front loader. This LG is larger and quieter. Love the lighted stainless tub and all of its features and wash cycles. This is the most efficient washer in terms of electricity and water used according to energystar. This unit is quiet and vibration free at 1300 rpms during the spin cycle. The most noise that's made is during emptying after rinse. It has nothing to do with the washer, the noise is coming from the water being dumped into the drain. Even when the washer and sidekick are running together, the. noise level is very low. All of the reviews saying that it's not Apple IOS compatible, well it is now. I did a search on google for the Smart ThinQ app and downloaded from LG rather than Apples App Store. Washer and dryer connects quickly. The app allows full function of the washer and dryer and all of its settings from the app. You even get alerts when the load is done and you can watch the progress of your wash cycles.

Worth every penny!

I struggled for weeks with this purchase. I needed a 65" TV for our new home and along with the B6, I was also looking at the Sony 940D and 930D. I used to own a Kuro Pioneer Elite Plasma 4-5 years ago and since buying a LED, have missed the nice inky blacks and sharp picture. Currently we have a Sony XBR 55X850B. After all of the 5 star reviews I've read on the B6, i felt that was the TV for me. However, after going in to Best Buy, I started looking at the 3 TV's listed and the B6 looked rather dark compared to the 2 Sony's. I know the Sony's are rated at a couple hundred NIT's higher in brightness than the LG, but the LG really looked dismal. The contrast on the LG was great, but it crushed the blacks in the shadows. Since Best Buy always has their TV's playing looped 4K video's of Gecko's and and waterfalls, I wanted to know what these TV's would do with the 1080p that most of my channels are on Dish Network. For this I streamed 1080p trailers of movies over wifi with YouTube. I set my phone up as a wifi hotspot rather than use the slow store wifi. This is what I recommend anyone whose looking to purchase a TV do. The 4K looped videos make anything look good. After watching several trailers on the 3 TV's the LG's dismal brightness just wasn't cutting it, but to be fair the 930 wasn't doing a very good job of upscaling the 1080 content it was receiving. The 940 fared better, but wasn't as good as the LG. My complaint with the LG always went back to how dim the panel looked compared to the Sony's. The B6 was mounted high and the store lights really drowned the picture quality of the LG. I had decided on the Sony 940. As i waited on them to get the TV, i walked around an end cap and noticed the B6 in a 55". Man was it bright, you could see all of the details in the shadows that the 65" B6 was missing. I went with my gut and told the guy to get the LG B6. When i got home, i was pleasantly surprised at the easy set up of the B6. Straight out of the box, the panel is near perfect. I plan on getting a professional calibration, but with just a few adjustments I made, 5 stars isn't a high enough rating. One of the things I hated about my Sony was watching concerts at night. With all of the light effects and strobes, the picture became a garbled mess with pixelization. The LG performs perfectly retaining its sharpness and contrast and color. This is one TV you don't want to pass up if you can pony up the funds! I decided the displayed 65" B6 was either bad, or somebody had messed with the settings. All these 5 star reviews are spot on, and so is this LG B6!

I used to love Samsung

I've been buying Samsung for years because I thought they were on top. I have a Pioneer Elite plasma and a Samsung 8000 series plasma, both which have an amazing picture. Looking at the 4K's I was impressed. So naturally I went with the Samsung 8550 4K. Easy to set up and a really good picture. However, when you run 4K content to the TV there is a small halo around moving objects. With standard 1080 HD there is an even more substantial amount of a blurry halo around moving objects. Go with standard definition content, you can't even watch your show. The halo and artifact from the TV struggling to upscale the resolution is nothing short of a disaster. When I was buying the Samsung, the person helping me tried to get me to go with the Sony. It's been a while since I've had a Sony XBR. He said Samsung outsources all their parts and Sony has more natural colors. So when I went back to return the Samsung, another Best Buy employee told me "you should have went with the Sony" So I bought the 55" XBR55X850B. This TV is AMAZING. It blows the Samsung out of the water in every aspect. The picture is more natural. It doesn't have the jittery camcorder like picture that most LED's have, even better there's no halos around moving objects. Even my wife noticed how much better the Sony was over the Samsung. If you're trying to decide on a 4K, look no further than the Sony XBR55X850B. Out of the box without any adjustments the picture is perfect. Everything else is a breeze to set up.

This is one remote you don't want to pass up!

I read Suoipoc's review so I decided to purchase the harmony smart control. I currently have the harmony 1100. I hated the lag, delay and the constant dead battery. I bought the 2.5 mm adapter and the Y's. took 15 min to have the hardware plugged up and the hub automatically updated the firmware once connected to my WiFi network. Since I already had a logitech account, I created a new account from my Iphone then transfered all my device settings over from my old account. Look less than a minute to do that. Total time out of the box and fully functional was less than 30 minutes. Out of all the univeral remotes I've purchased, this by far is the best. If you have some knowledge of univeral remote set up, this will be a snap. If you don't have any knowledge it'll take you a little longer to get things set up. Read Suoipoc's review, it's right on the money!
What's great about it: Speed of device control and ease of set up
What's not so great: Nothing so far

Is there a flat hanger that fits the Model OLED65b6p that will install the TV with total of less than 2.5 inches in depth?

Yes, LG makes the OTW150 mount and there are a lot of other mounts made by Sanus and Chief that have a 1.9" in depth.
