Love this Trilogy on Blu-Ray. it does look sharp, clean and sounds like your in the jungle running from the Dinosaurs! (if you have the proper 7.1 Surround system) I have read that the Silver cover with Widescreen dubbed does not look good and comes out a lesser quality than the DVD movie. I have not seen it myself but this version which is full screen 1080P looks perfect on my 47" LED. now when the movie is close to a person or object and its not the main focus of the scene, it does seem blurry and grainy, however, its not the main focus of that scene. it just really depends on the Customer. but here is my review and my opinion. Love it. this version is awesome and I'm glad I purchased it.
What's great about it: Everything!
What's not so great: out of focus spots look grainy, but they are meant to be out of focus
I would recommend this to a friend!

Extremely grainy, the Worst Transfer Ever!
By relfaith from Buffalo, NY
Being a Jurassic Park fan, I rushed out to but the Blu-ray trilogy on its release date. I have never been so disappointed in a digital transfer of a movie in my life. My old DVD's of Jurassic Park have a better picture than the new blu-rays. I am astounded that Universal would do such a poor job on the transfer of the films. I have other movies from Universal that are much older, like "The Blues Brothers" blu-ray (1980), and the picture of that is excellent. Not this! As a consumer, I expect a package labeled as "Perfect picture and sound" to be more than a slogan typed on a package. Whoever did the transfer for these movies didn't clean up the film at all. It looks more like a digital transfer of an old VHS tape that had been played 100 times. I have over 200 Blu-rays and none of them look as poor as this. Now I have to find out how to get my money back.

I did the same. When I found out about Jurassic Park being on Blu-Ray and with 7.1 HD Surround I went crazy. but here is the thing. I'm actually Happy and Amazed. It looks great for me, but the possibility could be that you Bought the Widescreen Dubbed? (silver cover) Even though dubbed means Language, I ended up buying the Metal (black cover) one which was 10 dollars more. I'm watching it on my LG 47" LED TV with my PS3 and it looks and sounds Incredibly amazing. I went back to the DVD version and I do notice that the Blu-ray version does hold up to its name. Of course I'm using the PS3 which is also pushing a better quality for up scaling the picture. the black cover (metal cover) is full screen, but its still 1080P and my opinion its looks fantastic. Hopefully this helps..
