decent but not quite up to standards

Ive bought this case for previous phones ( htc m8 and galaxy note 4) and upon putting it on my phone I'm noticing it doesn't quite hold the phone well. The top part of the phone shifts side to side and makes me wonder if that will scratch up the aluminum on the sides. Also im noticing that the clip isnt as sturdy as the previous cases ive owned (feels like it'll snap easier then otterbox defenders do). It seems as though this case was rushed and not tested thoroughly. The only plus side to this case is that it has a high "lip" for drop protection and the kickstand.

My charging port is broken. Will this still work on my GS3?

No it will not. The case still needs to be connected to the charging port. You might want to try and find a charger that charges the battery by itself.
