If you have a PS Vita, you're either someone who loves a console experience in a portable device, or you're looking forward to the second screen and/or remote play features coming with the PS4.
Either way, these grips make the Vita 100% better. Actual triggers, real grips that fit in your hand, and a much clearer transition from grips to touchpad on the back of the device.
Worth every penny.

What's great about it: Makes the Vita feel much better in your hands
What's not so great: If the grips extended a little lower, it'd be even better.

Evidently, the game isn't SUPPOSED to have fun gameplay and shooting mechanics. The point is that war is hard, it's not fun, shooting people shouldn't be done for pleasure.
There were definitely issues that made the gameplay difficult. It's a bit hard to control the character when moving to/from cover. But it's certainly functional, and it's not SO frustrating that I wanted to quit.
There were a couple of sequences where I felt like trial and error (and perfect timing) were essential to clear a level. Granted, I was playing on a harder difficulty, but still.
Then, there's the story. Get ready. It's quite good.
When you go into this game, don't approach is like a Call of Duty game. This isn't a bro-shooter. You are about to experience the mental breakdown of the protagonist. Pay attention to the things you are making him do, the things that YOU are doing.
In the end, you'll feel the weight of your actions.
I don't know of another game that does this quite as well as Spec Ops: The Line. At this point, there's no reason to skip this one. It's worth the effort.
The wind blows freely down the corridor of what was once a canyon of skyscrapers populated by million-dollar businesses, employees in suits and citizens on cell phones. A constant stream of yellow taxi cabs used to flow steadily down the asphalt streets. Now, Mother Nature has reclaimed what was hers, and vegetation engulfs the massive cities in patches. A modern plague outsmarted our civilized medicine, so now our cities now lie abandoned, and what's left of the American population is forced to do whatever it takes to survive. Neighbors who were friends, now kill each other for a loaf of bread — or a rifle — whatever they can get their hands on to help them live another day. In this decimated democracy, two individuals join up to work together in order and attempt the dangerous journey across the country. Will these two be able to survive the trek — or will they be The Last of Us?Developed by Naughty Dog, the creators of the popular Uncharted franchise, comes The Last of Us. Carefully blending elements of survival and action, The Last of Us defines a genre by placing you in the heart of the adventure to outlast a modern plague on your journey across the decimated United States. Playing as Joel, a survivor, and Ellie, a teenage girl who is much braver and wiser than her age would suggest, you must work together to fend off dangerous foes, terrifying enemies and other survivors who will do anything to save themselves. Every minute of every hour of every day is a struggle to outlive the next person you encounter — do you have the mental and physical strength to make it?

Usually a game has SOMETHING you can criticize, but not so with TLOU. It's simply perfection. There are no games better than this game for this console generation.
Really, you need to stop reading this review and just go buy the game.

I absolutely loved this game. I was a little late to this console generation, so I was catching up with some games a couple years back. I remember playing this game through the first time and how amazed I was. I don't remember having this much fun with a video game in a LONG time.
The story is good. I imagine it's hard to write new material for Batman, but the developers did a good job here.
But where this game shines is in the gameplay. Whether you're gliding over the courtyard, hanging from gargoyles stringing up bad guys, or engaging in what I consider to be the most rewarding hand to hand combat in any modern video game, it's all just plain fun.
This game is a can't miss game.

Red Dead Redemption is a game that you absolutely HAVE to play.
For me, it's in the running for the best game of this console generation. Not only is there plenty to do (main and side missions), but each mission is fun. It doesn't feel like grinding.
End the end, you really feel connected to the John Marston character. You know him. The story is amazing. I don't want to spoil anything, but l can't recommend this game enough. Everyone should play it.

This is a pretty decent game. The gameplay is fast paced and fun. Combat mechanics are tight and easy to handle.
But this is definitely not the same type of game (story or gameplay) as other Metal Gear games. If that's what you're expecting, just know that's not what you're gonna get.

My experience with this game might be a colored by the fact that I played it AFTER I played The Last of Us, but it just feels disappointing.
The pace seems off. Like, I want to move on, but the game is holding me back.
But other than that, it's generally a good game. The story is engaging, and the graphics are top notch. Great environment. But in the end, it's somewhat forgettable.

Decent Sound, poor build quality

The sound is decent. Not very loud, if you like to listen to music, but a decent amplifier can solve that.
The really disappointing thing is the build quality. Really poor decisions on the part of the designers.
Look at the pictures, just above the speakers, but below the extension slider. This joint is essentially supposed to connect the speaker sections to the over head support piece. It's PLASTIC and it's being held in place by a very small screw. Everyday use causes this little screw to break out of its threads, leaving the headphone to dangle.
I was able to glue one side back together. But when the other side did the SAME THING, no amount of rubber cement will hold it together. Seriously, the exact same break on both sides.
So if you plan on using a headset more than just casually, look elsewhere. These will break. It's a design flaw, and replacing them will be inevitable. I expect that from $20 headphones, but for $70, you expect a bit more.
What's great about it: Nothing is all that great
What's not so great: Poor build quality, weak joints that inevitably break
