Connect up to 4 devices to the coaxial connection from your cable or indoor/outdoor VHF/UHF/FM antenna with this mini drop amplifier. It works with the DC power provided by components, or with the AC power provided by the included adapter.

Good amp but not great

This amp is OK but if I had time, I'd order a Channel Master online.
It provides about 10dB of gain and has a built in 4-port splitter. So if you replaced a 4-port splitter with this, you'd get 10dB of gain. That allows you to run a little over 100' of RG-6 on each output.
My tests showed about 3.5dB of gain even though the unit is marked 4dB. The paperwork that comes with it says that it's noise figure is 7.5dB which is extremely high for a 10dB amp.
It accepts power over the #1 output but there isn't a power inserter included with the unit. That would have been nice because there's rarely an outlet wherever you want to stick an amp. The included wall wart's cord is 6' long.
What's great about it: Compact, 4 outputs
What's not so great: Low gain, no power inserter
I would recommend this to a friend!

Enjoy high-quality audio from your computer's sound system with these desktop speakers that feature 3" woofers and 3/4" tweeters for an immersive soundscape. The auxiliary input allows simple connections.

Look great but sound blah.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to like these speakers. They audio that they make is muddy and muffled. I'm guessing that if you RTA'd these that the frequency response would look like the golden arches. The boost switch just makes them boomy. With the boost switch off, plugging the ports with wash cloths helped a little.
If you EQ'd the snot out of these and removed the shroud from the tweeter, you might be able to make them sound decent. But by that time I'll have enough money saved to buy the Corsair SP2500 speakers.
I'm dissapointed at PC Per's review. These speakers do not sound good.
For now, I'm returning these and putting my Sennheiser HD600 headphones back on.
What's great about it: Awesome build quility. They look great!
What's not so great: The sound. Muddy and muffled.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Coax power injection?

What is the connection for injecting power through the coax (into the output 1 terminal)? Is the center lead positive 12V?

Thanks.
If you didn't want to use the #1 output, you could just wire it to +12V, positive center to that jack. If you still wanted to use all of the jacks, you'd need a power inserter like a Sonora HRFPI or a Holland HR PI-BW.
