These units are much less than others, like Bose, but sound very good. They can be used as primary speakers for a small system; I use them with my TV and my CD/DVD setup. They are mainly designed for bookshelf use or for the add-on speakers in a surround environment, but they look good enough and have enough sound for a decent living room. I put them on floor mounts and that works pretty good.
What's great about it: Good sound, good quality, looks good.
What's not so great: Might be too small for those power hungry :-)
From the Sanus Euro Foundations line, these distinctive speaker stands are as sleek and stylish as they are functional. Stable adjustable design is ideal for satellite and surround speakers.

The product is pretty well made, and the finish is very good. The cable routing inside the vertical is OK, but hard to do. The screw knob to adjust the height is not very strong. The biggest problem is the mounts attach to the top with a screw into the center of the tube, and they tend to wobble or lean. It is a poor design and should have a flange or something at the top to keep everything flat and square. My bookshelf size speakers are leaning already; I can probably fix it but I have to take it apart again and tweak the hardware until it looks straight once assembled.
