I purchased this flash as a supplement to my DSLR small flash. I enjoy ease of the program capability of it. There are many features that I haven't used as of yet, but if you are looking for a flash that you don't have to think about how to use with your Nikon DSLR, this is a great entry flash.

I upgraded from a D80 and have things changed in a good way. I like the ability to have two SD cards with the option of extra capacity or a simple back up of images; like that some of my older Nikkor lenses are compatible with the D7100; My D80 "program" knob would slip, the D7100 has a "locking" mechanism that keeps your selection in place. Overall, highly recommend this camera.
