Masterpiece!

This review is about the quality of the blu-ray film is still very gripping and I sure if you are buying this you do not need another review on the film. There are two versions here the original release and the extended version, Firstly it appears the original version does not suffer from drops in picture quality like the extended version, each extra scene you can clearly see a drop in quality however parts in both versions when the contrast is low look like you are watching the film through a snow storm. More care appears to be taken with the sound and the DTS sound is good in both version. So is it worth it yes if you have not got it but do not expect a massive leap in quality. the extras are good mostly the same a s th DVD with the BBC excellent documentary the fear of God. The rating for the transfer not the film which is a 5 star film
What's great about it: 'a disturbing expierience'
What's not so great: Masterpiece

Very Scary

To appreciate this quick off the mark sequel to the 2009 no budget global smash, you have to have liked the original. This is a prequel that sets about the story that leads up to the 2009 movie. For the first hour it's more of the same, as this time we are introduced to a new family who are about to welcome their new born son home. As you would expect we are treated to the usual noises of foot steps, unexplained drafts and a strange break in where the intruders steal nothing, leading up to the family fitting of six CCTV around the house. Then sixty five minutes into the movie we are treated to the first shock, that somehow I somehow managed to tip a glass of red wine over my new top!
For the remaining thirty minutes we are then treated to some brilliantly executed jolts that even manages to out-do the now famous bed drag from the original. All this leads to a unexpected ending that follows on from the aftermath of the 2009 movie that will no doubt lead to a part three...Paranormal Activity 2 is better than I expected, but not quite as good as I dare hope, as it is more of the same, but with so may good scares it is a very worthy sequel.
What's great about it: Very entertaining movie with a few chills
What's not so great: I didn't like the ending
I would recommend this to a friend!

He's not a bird or a plane — and he's definitely not Superman. Cole is a superhero with super problems; blamed for the destruction of Empire City, haunted by the ghosts of his past and confronted by terrifying enemies at every turn, he doesn't lead a simple life. Step into Cole's super-powered world and embark on a dramatic journey to unlock secrets of the past and discover your true hero potential. As you explore the streets of New Marais, you can never let your guard down — in this world, fiery explosions incinerate entire buildings before your eyes, cold-blooded enemies attack with alarming accuracy and electricity is a dangerous and easily harnessed weapon. Do you have enough superhero in your blood to save humanity? Or will you continue down the path to become an inFamous destroyer? In this second chapter of Cole's adventure-filled saga, you control the story and decide what's right and wrong. This time, you have the power to make choices and decisions that could alter your future — and the fate of the world. Live out all of the consequences to your choices in vivid detail, powerful cinematic sequences and increased interactivity. The stakes are high and game bosses are more evil than ever, but you are armed with enhanced electrical attacks, fighting skills and new super powers so your fights are packed with intense, heart-pounding action. When you plunge into the dramatic, perilous world of inFamous 2, you'll discover what it really means to be a superhero. And here's a hint: it's not how you imagined it would be.

Infamous 2 is a worthly sequel
on August 10, 2011

Sucker Punch has outdone itself with their latest game, Infamous 2, not only it's a better game than its predecesso, but also an experience only for PlayStation gamers. Infamous 2 is a great acomplishment for Sucker Punch and they should be comended for it.
Presentation and Story:
You begin where you left off in Infamous 1, Empire City right after you defeated Kessler, the future antagonist, Cole, and you're ready to head with Lousey Kuo to a new city called New Marais (prounouned "Marees"). The game plays the same but more fluid and dynamic. The presentation is presented with better scenes and also the story is told very well. Both of them make Infamous 2 a unique game that balances an open-world with great storytelling. Like its predecessor, you make choices and they play a main factor in choosing your own path. You can either become the villain that everyone fears and hate or you can become the hero that everyone loves.
Score: 10/10
If you've played Infamous 1, which you have to play that one before jumping to the other one, you'll notice how much the graphics are improved. Fortuantely, the bad framerates are fixed, no glitches and no more Cole stuck inside a building. But some missions online which I'll explain later in the gameplay category, are glitchy, but I know you won't spend all of your time only playing the mission and so do I. That didn't bother me at all because I occasionally play Online missions though, they are somewhat different and fresh than the usual ones. Also, the graphics don't get downgraded while playing online and that's something I like.
Score: 9/10
Soundtracks and Voice Acting:
From the tension music in the heat action to the drumming sound while exploring for shardcores, it's all in the mood and I like not because it sets my mood right but also an impressive stand-alone soundtrack that you would enjoy listening to.
Voice Acting is phenomenal though Cole's actor's has changed but the new guy's also amazing and I hope they don't change him. Both of them are great, but change sometimes fightens people and I am one of those people but once you put in more hours in the game, you'll find Cloe an already-lovable character just like the first one.
The rest of the characters are also great, Zeke's is still solid. Newcomers to the series get the job very well done. Enemies' acting is Wow, they feel so natural. They talk to each other, they kind of talk about startegy during battles with Cole and my favorite thing… they scream!! Of course that is only seen mostly in missions.
Score: 9.5/10
Gameplay:
To start off, you have no menu at the beginning when you first insert the disc and that's fine. You immediately jump to the action. The loading times are almost non-existed and the core mechanics are still exactly the same, but more enojyable.
The choices you make in the game not only affects the story, but your powers change too. Villain Cole has different from Hero Cole. But upgrading them is the same. You finish a side/primary mission you get Experience Points then once you have enough, you unlock a power.
Melee attacks changed too, you don't punch people in the face. Now Cole has a electric rod that he swings with and also upgradyable.
Score: 8.5/10
Conclusion:
I don't know if I can write about Infamous 2 without spoiling too much information, but I can tell you this. You have to consider this game. And if you do, play Infamous 1 because it's so connected to the story. I know some gamers prefer Prototype to Infamous, but Prototype fans, you don't want to miss your nemesis game.
Final Score: 9.5/10
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: You no longer self-regenerate
