This is promoted as Take 6's return to gospel after their triumphant successes in popular music and collaborations with the biggest names in music. But they really never left the style or the spirit. This album has more maturity and more depth than their first couple Christian-music-only recordings and the arrangements offered by the newest member, Khristian, are worthy of the Take 6 legacy and name. The only small distraction; Take 6 sounds like Take 6. After 45-50 minutes of those lush six-parts, you might be ready to drop some Pentatonix or Urban Method, just to cleanse the palate. But you'll soon be back...
What's great about it: Fantastic originals
What's not so great: Easy to listen, hard to repeat
